Restaurant Daily News 1 0 5 Monday, May 22, 2017 RDN: Who is Aalberts Industries and what impact can we expect it to have on the restaurant industry? DL: Aalberts Industries is a Netherlands- based technology company first founded in 1975. We have acquired over 57 com- panies with four being in the dispense category. We supply and service all lead- ing customers in the beverage industry with established brands Taprite, DSI and Schroeder America, plus recently acquired Vin Service. We bring together leading technologies in select markets to achieve the highest value for our cus- tomers. RDN: What products and services will you provide? DL: Taprite is the preferred supplier of soft drink and beer equipment accessories and parts for over 75 years. Its products range from CO 2 /N 2 regulators, BIB racks, draft taps/towers/pumps/couplers, ice bins, accessories and more. DSI (Dispense Systems International) is a consolidated company in Germany with more than 100 years of experience in the industry. Its products include various types of extractor tubes, dispense heads, pressure regulators and beer taps. Jud Schroeder founded Schroeder America in 2006 as a vertically integrated manu- facturer of beverage dispensers. Its products range from bar guns, non-car- bonated post-mix dispensers, chillers, ice cooled dispensers, accessories and more. Coming together as Aalberts Dispense Technologies means all these leading products, services and technolo- gies create a stronger portfolio with con- tinued growth in the future. Vin Service, a family business started by Riccardo Guadalupi and his wife Daniela Schroeder America (Cont'd. from p. 1) Gennaro Guadalupi in 1976, will add a variety of stylish and innovative line of draft and beverage towers as well as water/glycol chillers and faucets. RDN: What does partnering these com- panies mean for the restaurant industry? DL: The product lines of Vin Service are complementary to our existing dispens- ing technologies at Taprite, DSI and Schroeder America. By combining the four portfolios, utilizing our strong brands, sales and distribution channels, we are able to offer an even more com- plete dispensing system to our global customers. We also see many possibili- ties to improve our supply chain, opti- mize our manufacturing and strengthen our R&D developments. Aalberts Industries has invested over two million Euros into automated manufacturing equipment at DSI, because of its long- term vision to further develop the bever- age dispense business. DSI, through suc- cessful renovation of certificates ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, is now compliant with market and environmental require- ments. RDN: What does Aalberts Industries look to achieve with these four compa- nies in its dispense category? DL: The vision is to have a fully inte- grated ordering service of complementa- ry parts between all companies. For example, Vin Service stylish towers and efficient chillers and Taprite's accompa- nying regulator and BIB rack would be available for order in one convenient package. We move forward, together, with the customer in mind. Four trusted brands, one quality solution package. We are proud to say that most of the top companies trust Zumex. RDN: Why do you think it is so? NB: We are not just about manufacturing and selling juicers, but we are all about educating the end user on the successful juicing model. We are invested in the end users' process and operation and we pride ourselves in giving straightforward, hon- est and helpful advice that will help you strengthen the foundation of your juicing business. Over 30 years of experience go into how we craft and design a machine that will be both dependable and durable. When we produce and re-engineer one of our products, we focus more on the end users process and the many ques- tions they need to be answered concern- ing the speed of operation, functionali- ty, labor, clean up, maintenance, safety and service. These types of machines will sell themselves, but at the end of the day the end user that wants to dive in and start benefiting from the profits that this lucrative business model can produce need to look no further than the Zumex brand. RDN: Are you presenting a new product at the NRA Show 2017?
