B r o a d c a s t e r s S h o w D a i l y 6 3 Tu e s d a y, A p r i l 9 , 2 0 1 3 manufacture a full line of 3D eyewear for everyone's budget. Today, we man- ufacture numerous types of filters for all kinds of different products and mar- kets. Actif can offer finished 3D eye- wear in either linear or circular polar- ized versions. We can also offer linear filters, circular polarized filters or ¼ wave filters that can be used as filters for cameras or projectors. BSD: What would you say makes your company unique? RU: There are two things that really set us aside from everyone else. First, we are a one-stop shop. Everything that we sell is manufactured within our own facilities. We are not a broker or a dis- tributor of someone else's products. From the lenses to the frames, we do it all in-house. Second, we see a lot of other companies cutting corners to make their products cheaper and cheap- er to get more new sales. The way we see things, there are some corners just that just should not be cut. Cutting cor- ners can have an effect on the quality of a person's 3D experience. BSD: Are you introducing any new prod- ucts? RU: Yes we are. In addition to all of our standard products, we are now offering the most versatile eyewear on the planet. We have a true 3D/Sunglass. These mod- els will allow you to own one pair of glasses that does it all. They will work with any passive 3D television, passive 3D display (monitor), or 95 percent of all U.S. movie theaters that use circular polarized technology. And when worn outside they not only provide you with the ultimate UV protection, they also darken when they are exposed to UV. These are truly one of a kind that no one else can offer you but Actif! We also have Actif Polarizers (Con't. from p. 1) your success? RU: The fact that we have a large group multi-talented employees at our factory in China. BSD: IneoQuest experienced record growth in 2012. What do you attribute to this success? CH: 2012 was a very exciting year for IneoQuest. This success is attributed to our continued innovation and advancement of our solutions, along with our seasoned executive manage- ment and sales teams. IneoQuest has proven its ability to meet the growing demand for video quality and service assurance solutions. BSD: What video trends should the industry keep an eye on this year? IneoQuest (Con't. from p. 1) CH: The explosive growth of internet and mobile video consumption is some- thing to watch. Service providers will be looking for new revenue models in order to monetize TV Everywhere. Also, serv- ice providers will look to capitalize on the existing architecture and here you will see a move to a hybrid network where OTT streaming video will co-exist with traditional Pay-TV. It will be imper- ative more than ever for video providers to invest in a solution that will provide the data to help them realize new revenue models and guarantee the best video experience for their subscribes as they expand their offerings. With a mix of mainstream net- works, unique and niche content, and highly desired movies and series for VOD, Vivicast offers operators the con- tent their subscribers want to see. BSD: What would you say makes Vivicast unique? SS: Vivicast is unique for very many rea- sons. We identified several years ago the growth of multi-platform entertainment and believed that this way of viewing content would continue to evolve. With the new technologies that are available to operators and audiences around the world, we have gone out of our way to get the best content available for global distribution for multi-platform use. As a company, Vivicast never rests on its laurels and we continue to look at the way our industry changes and our team always understands the impor- tance of a changing dynamic out there―whether it's on-demand, 4K, 3D, or broadcast. Another area where I believe we are unique is in our approach to each region of the world. We have actively recruited some of the very best agents to represent our company and our con- tent. These agents are located in-coun- try and thus have an in-depth knowl- edge of the operators and truly under- stand what is happening in their specif- ic area of the world. This enables Vivicast to deal with all of the different nuances that working with varied cul- tures and audiences brings and means. When we are talking to our content partners we are able to explain every- thing with a high level of knowledge. Vivcast Media (Con't. from p. 1) tors. When we license a network we believe that it's a true partnership. It's our job to showcase that network and that implies an understanding of what that network is trying to accomplish. Likewise for our operators – each one is different, with a different technology, a different goal and a different target audi- ence. And we need to understand that so that we can bring them programming which will help them reach their goals. BSD: How can our readers find out about your company? SS: Come visit us at our booth, SU-CP1, or visit us at www.vivicastmedia.com. For more information, visit www.vivicas- tmedia.com, call 901-842-5340, email info@vivicast.com or go to booth SU- CP1 at NAB 2013. BSD: Are you introducing any new products? SS: Yes, we are. We're excited about our new catalogue of 4K and 3D program- ming and our interactive network, Psychic TV. We will also be adding sev- eral new channels this year including a new movie channel and a brand new HD sports channel that I believe will be a huge hit all over the world. BSD: To what do you attribute your com- pany's success? SS: First, it's our people. By having indi- viduals who care about our business, understand our core values, and have expertise in varied fields, the company dynamic works. Second, and I think this is critical, we believe in working very closely with our networks and our opera- good news, especially for car manufac- turers these days. As the price of gas goes up, so too does the demand for fuel-efficient vehi- cles. To deliver the greatest amount of mileage, car manufacturers look for improvement everywhere, even in the entertainment section. One of the best features of Audyssey BassXT is its efficiency. Deep bass without a subwoofer requires much less energy, saves on weight and offers more flexibility in design. All of these things add up to significant fuel savings.
