The founders of Prolift Suspension have been engineering and installing sus- pension systems for over 20 years and have over 50 years of combined experi- ence in building great gear for the auto- motive aftermarket and firearms indus- tries. They are avid rig builders, off road- ers, hunters and sportsmen. They know their customers and the kind of gear they would want and that drives everything they build. They optimize the perform- ance of each system while maintaining OEM specified geometry. They study each vehicle, rip it apart and put it back together again, to identify all of the com- Prolift Suspension ( Cont'd. from p. 1) ponents that need to be designed to work together, as a system, to build the ulti- mate kit. They understand how all of the suspension components interact with each other and have implemented an inte- grated design approach that takes the per- formance of their vehicle suspension sys- tems to the next level. You can see it in the components. The intelligence is evi- dent in both the complexity and simplic- ity of the parts, engineered to the nth degree for ultimate performance, yet sim- ple to install, in a minimum amount of time. Prolift is passionate about suspen- sion systems and the role they play in building your rig. It is equally committed to manufacturing the majority of its com- ponents in America. It has the skills and the craftsmanship to get the job done right. It is so confident in its products that it offers its industry leading Square Deal Guarantee. It is here to work with you and support you as you install the gear and build your rig. Prolift is here to earn your business and your trust, one cus- tomer and one kit at a time. Last year, some visitors did- n't realize ACDelco is the only true GM OE parts provider until they saw the chassis, so we're continuing to drive that message. Speaking of GM OE, we're sponsor- ing a clinic where shop owners can a learn how to diagnose, replace or repro- gram GM Transmission Electro Hydraulic Control Modules, the heart of more than eight million GM six-speed automatic transmissions on the road. We're highlighting our Battery Marketer Program, industry-leading training and a Professional Service Center Program lounge where shops can learn more about the benefits of being partnering with ACDelco. ADN: What is your biggest challenge? RS: The automotive aftermarket will soon be a $150-billion annual business and we want a bigger piece of that. We have a strong brand, great distribution partners and a significant product offering. So we're focusing on strategic ways to profitably grow our share of the independent aftermarket without compromising the quality of our parts and the support we provide to inde- pendent businesses. ADN: ACDelco has been courting mil- lennials – why? RS: Millennials are the next generation of our partners in the trade, so we want to enhance their awareness of the ACDelco brand. We offer a solid foun- dation, great training, products and marketing support. We're profiling a few promising young techs in a series of videos called "The Part That Built Me." They're unscripted and authentic, ACDelco ( Cont'd. from p. 1) and are on our YouTube channel, syn- dicated on websites where the next generation of trade go, and spread via social media. We're also engaging this audience through our support for the GM ASEP technician program. ADN: You introduced a Regional Service Chain program last year. How is it going? RS: Fantastic. We have nearly 400 stores in the network and we're seeing solid sales growth. Soon we'll be making an announce- ment about offering improved peace of mind to consumers who visit Regional Service Chains that partner with us. ADN: What new products and services has ACDelco introduced this year? RS: We've released hundreds of new SKUs to our customers this year, includ- ing many GM OE emissions products new to ACDelco. We continue to emphasize a "repair" strategy rather than just selling parts. By providing all of the products to repair a vehicle, our customers can satisfy the consumer quickly. This includes software. The TEHCMs I mentioned earlier are a good example. We've released OE Key Fobs to the aftermarket, too. It's the same situation – you don't need to go multiple places to complete the repair. Our new parts ordering system and online community, ACDelco Connection and ACDelco Community, make it easier to do business with us and give ACDelco professionals a forum for sharing best practices and repair challenges. For more information, visit www.ac delco.com, call 800-ACDelco or stop by booth #4608 AAPEX. ADN: What's new this year? SK: Many things! We're introducing a completely redesigned Solid Fold ton- neau cover. Introduced eight years ago, we've built upon all its strengths and made it better with TPO dent proof pan- els and integrated snap on seals all around like the EnCore. It's cooler to touch on hot days and will be the most water resistant folding cover in the mar- ket. We're super excited to bring this to the market. We also have the new e Light 500, a removable LED light designed to fit in the tail panel of our folding covers. It puts out an amazing 500 lumens of light and is rechargeable using the trucks 12v port. We've partnered with Rigid Industries to produce it and it's just spec- tacular. Finally, we've introduced an all new marketing look with a new website, catalog and our retail display header Extang ( Cont'd. from p. 4) cards. You'll see it all in our booth – #31097 in the upper floor of the South Hall. ADN: What do you like about the new F- 150? SK: Everything! It's tight, quiet, packed full of technology and very powerful with its EcoBoost engine. I think it will create a lot of excitement for the after- market with new products. We've had a lot of fun tricking out our F-150 with work truck accessories for the SEMA show. Washtenaw Community College did a fantastic job of painting and build- ing it for us. It can be seen with our new Solid Fold tonneau in the LTAA booth #34183 in the South Hall.
