A f te rm a rke t D a i l y N e ws Tu e s d a y, N o ve m b e r 4 , 2 0 1 4 5 0 BRIGHT SOLAR-POWER LIGHTED LATCHING SYSTEMS FROM CLC INTERNATIONAL INC CLC International Inc. is a wholesale dis- tributor of seating components for the transportation industry: to OEM manu- facturers and multi-stage manufacturers. It is expanding its product line to now include a new innovative solar latch line, adding to its current latching hardware line. It has two models available. These are advanced latch products for vehicular exterior storage applications, including pickup trucks, RVs, service vehicles, emergency vehicles, rescue vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles, cargo trailers, coaches and buses and more. Partnered with ESSC-SJ, Asia's largest manufac- turer of industrial and vehicular locking hardware, CLC International Inc. pro- vides total customer-design engineering service to OEMs in the U.S. with quick turnaround from design to market appli- cations in just days. Model S-VTB001 features include illumination of the keyhole area for easy insertion of the key at night time, a handle that lights to guide the fingers operating the latch at night, and an LED lamp on the back side that pro- vides lighting for the whole tool box/compartment area at night. All lights are powered solely by solar ener- gy, and the bright LED lighting is supplied by ultra-low volt- age power to ensure safe and hazard-free latching opera- tions. The latch itself has dual locking functions compatible with cam locking and rod con- trol locking. It's configured for the most common pickup truck tool box latch replacement for the current global market with a mirror- polished stainless steel faceplate, stain- less steel paddle and electronic compo- nents, which will allow for the widest range of applications. No additional wiring necessary; all self-contained. Locking cams, rod control, installation drill holes, etc., can be custom-built for specific and extended applications and is also available in complete black powder coat. Model MS866-20-2A was designed specifically for automotive slam door applications. This new model introduces two lighting functions powered by solar energy to assist service operations at night: the handle lights so the user can see to operate the latch at night and an LED lamp on the back side of the latch provides lighting for the whole storage/compartment area at night. All electric and electronics are powered by solar energy only. Bright LED lighting is supplied by ultra-low voltage power to ensure safe and hazard- free latching operations. No additional wiring is necessary; all self-contained. For further information, visit CLC International Inc. during SEMA in booth #16010. After the show, visit www.clcinternationalinc.com. BIG STYLE FOR BIG TRUCKS BY AFTER EFFECT You'd have to be living in the space sta- tion for the last three years not to notice the growth spurt heavy-duty pickup trucks have experienced. I'm sure we don't have to point out that full-size trucks are getting bigger, but After Effect feels obligated to mention that big trucks need big accessories to carry all of that attitude down the road. That's why it launched its line of large-diameter bull and step bars for heavy-duty pickups. Although After Effect is relatively new to the after-market industry, making big parts for big trucks is in its blood. After Effect's sister company, Lincoln Chrome, is a leader in manufacturing high quality exhaust systems and acces- sories for the class 8 semi-truck industry. In addition, both After Effect and Lincoln Chrome are divisions of Lincoln Industries, a large-scale manufacturer of finish-intensive metal products with over 60 years of experience and a customer base that includes OEM providers such as Harley-Davidson, Polaris, Peterbilt, Kenworth and many others. Manufactured in Lincoln, Neb., from start to finish, After Effect prod- ucts are backed by over 60 years of chrome plating experience and incorpo- rate quality and production standards that are unmatched in the industry. Creating a line of large- diameter bull and step bars for heavy-duty trucks was a natural pro- gression for After Effect product team. It has spent over two years building and fitting prototypes to perfect its prod- ucts because it knows big-truck cus- tomers demand nothing but the best for their rides. After Effect controls every phase of the manufacturing process. Its production is a "start to finish" approach that begins with material standards twice that of ASTM specifications. Twenty-foot lengths of heavy-gauge, stainless steel are cut and bent into shape. A multi-step polishing process creates a smooth sur- face and a multi-pass cleaning treatment ensures that three layers of nickel plating will adhere to all AE products. Finally, a layer of chrome or matte-black finish is added to seal the deal on a line of super- sized bull and step bars with unmatched durability, corro- sion resistance and attitude. Quality products, on-time delivery and made-in-America customer service are the framework that supports the After Effect product line up. Stop by SEMA booth #37049 and the company will show you how AE bull bars and step bars can add to your bottom line. After Effect step and bull bars come in 5-, 6- and 7-inch diameters and are available for Chevy, Dodge, GMC and Ford heavy-duty trucks.
