Recently, one of my clients asked me to work on their new home. The space was an open concept downtown loft which they had planned on using as their primary residence, as well as an office space for their financial planning busi- ness. The clients were young hipsters, very urban and definitely looking for me to transform their new home into a space that could serve the dual purpose. They were looking for storage solutions for their home and office, since the open con- cept loft didn't offer any, and they needed everything that I was going to introduce into the space to complement the existing furniture. They wanted items with form, clear function and of course, fashion. The neatfreak ® Uptown Collection came to mind. Incorporating the Nf3 approach to innovation, this collection was the ideal solution for this space. With its clean, functional and stylish aesthet- ics, it was sure to fit in with the client's existing furniture, while at the same time, offer function in its storage capabilities. For the home side of the loft, I introduced the two units of the 72- inch double armoire with patented sliding curtain. The two units together worked perfectly to create a nice divide between the home and office space. The armoires are modern, sleek and extremely functional. Best of all, the sliding curtain hides all that you store away. Although the black curtain was a nice compliment to the client's space today, the curtain is customizable, so if later in life the clients decide that they need a little pattern in their lives, this product gives them the flexibility to change the curtain out. I also tucked in a deluxe easy reach hamper between the two armoires, giving them a sleek storage space to discretely drop dirty laundry in. On the opposite side, I introduced a six drawer dressing chest, which is perfect for hanging some items on top, and hid- ing everything else in the draw- ers below. For the office side of the loft, the client's glass top desk and black leather chair were paired with a few units of three drawer side cabinets; a five drawer tall boy and two 12 compartment cube organizers. All of these pieces are ideal for storing files, documents and supplies, while giving you landing surface on top for decorative accessories.
