TOTALLY BAMBOO DEVELOPS EXCLUSIVE PRO QUALITY CUTTING BOARDS By Judy Wolf, Vice President of Sales, Totally Bamboo Totally Bamboo, the original designer of the first bamboo cutting board, is launch- ing a new collection of cutting boards: The Pro Board collection. The Pro Board collection and several other new intro- ductions can be seen at booth #S2157. The Pro Board collection features exclusive bamboo end grain parquet that was designed by Totally Bamboo. It is the most durable of all grain cuts and leaves the fewest visible knife marks. The end-grain construction means these blocks will endure a lifetime of rugged use, while remaining gentle on knife blades. Professionals say this grain deliv- ers a good "feel" while chopping and dic- ing. "We consulted with several profes- sional chefs as we developed this new product," says Totally Bamboo Founder Tom Sullivan. "The final product needed to meet several expectations: dura- bility, a comfort- able feel and aes- thetic appeal. I believe we achieved all of those and more. We're very pleased with the result." The Pro Board collection is avail- able in two sizes: Pro Board (20-3016) 16 inches by 16 inches by 1 ½ inches, $100 MSRP, and Pro Board Long (20-3022) 22 inches by 16 inches by 1 ½ inches, $140 MSRP.
