C o n s u m e r E l e c t ro n i c s D a i l y N e ws 3 7 Th u r s d a y, J a n u a r y 8 , 2 0 1 5 BEELINE CASES: KEEPING YOUR PHONE AT YOUR SIDE By Brent Williams, President, Beeline Cases, Inc. Eureka Park will be buzzing at booth #75780 in the Sands Convention Center. Beeline is making its grand entrance into the cell phone case mar- ket. It's a game changing cell phone case that can give you a sense of secu- rity in knowing you can safely have your phone by your side no matter what you're doing. It's a great story built out of necessity. It works great, those that have seen it love it and I can't wait to show it to you. I've had initial meetings with major outdoor retailers in the market over the last month and the response has been amazing. One buyer who purchases sun- glasses, phone cases and accessories said she doesn't get excited about much and this to her was exciting. Not only does it have a fantastic design, it's super func- tional and looks great. The technology of packing so much stuff into a small space is key. I designed a cell phone case that is minimal, durable, stylish and functional. The Beeline carabiner will secure your phone to your backpack, belt loop or purse, so you never have to worry about losing it. Beeline has a sleek built-in carabiner on a Kevlar cord that extends out of the phone case so you can use it to call, text or take a photo and then simply retract the cord and the carabiner returns to its hidden position. The company is poised to hit all retail channels in 2015. The exposure in the outdoor industry is a first for the brand as it got its start there. Beeline Cases can go side by side with all the major brands at retail for style, fit, security and good looks. The Beeline case is great for all consumers. It's a well-built everyday cell phone case. If you're an active person that enjoys hiking, riding, golf- ing, running, hunting, paddling, fish- ing, traveling, working or anywhere in between, you can be secure with a Beeline by your side. This would also be a great tool for fire, police or mili- tary personnel. Also, we can all tell a story about leaving our cell phone on the air- plane, or in a restaurant or bar, but a Beeline case keeps your phone by your side. Currently, we offer cases for the iPhone 5/5S, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+. We have a great color palette and are also licensed to manufacture Mossy Oak camouflage cases. It's a fresh line-up, great colors and I'm looking forward to seeing the response at retail. Beeline is ready for business. WHISTLER INTRODUCES NEW HALF HELMET VERSION OF MOTOGLO Whistler has introduced a half helmet version of the MotoGlo. This new addi- tion easily attaches to half helmets for increased visibility. The failure of motorists to identify and recognize motorcycles in traffic is one of the leading causes of motorcycle accidents. Traditional motorcycle light- ing does not provide adequate visibility to following drivers, resulting in a vast amount of injury and death. The Whistler Group Inc., a leading industry supplier of state-of-the-art elec- tronics, introduced their Helmet Safety Light, the MotoGlo in July; Whistler recently added a half helmet version for riders who prefer to wear half helmets. The Whistler MotoGlo was exclusively designed with rider safety in mind. The new half helmet version features a sleek, low profile receiver that easily attaches to any half helmet to increase rider visibili- ty while on the road. It has helmet height running, braking, and turn signal LED lighting that provides increased rider vis- ibility to following drivers. The MotoGlo offers digital wireless communication that can be paired with and support mul- tiple helmets. It provides 12 hours of sus- tainability on one single charge and can be conveniently re-charged in less than one hour using the included USB cable. "After doing extensive research, we identified a gap in the market. There wasn't a product available to con- sumers that addressed the visibility obstacle that motorcyclists fre- quently encounter," said Leslie Folsom, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Operations at Whistler. "Our mission was to create an affordable safety product for riders that would help to significantly reduce visibility related motorcycle acci- dents." About Whistler Whistler is a leader in international state- of-the-art electronics and automotive laser/radar detection systems. Throughout the years, Whistler has innovated and patented important product advances, resulting in first-to- market accomplishments and top performance rankings.
