BSD: Tell our readers about your compa- ny. What's your main line of business? AS: Our company utilizes wearable com- puting technology to capture data like never before, and with our proprietary firmware and comprehensive suite of software appli- cations, allows businesses to turn that data into actionable intelligence through a com- prehensive suite of software applications. BSD: Where is your current product emphasis? AS: Our emphasis is on developing firmware (XOLinux), which provides the framework for custom application develop- ment and the software layer (Vision), which is the cloud-based device, user and applica- tion management suite. Our business is focused on developing our firmware and software to accommodate a variety of hard- ware devices, which includes our own inter- nally developed XOne eyewear device. BSD: What would you say makes your company unique? AS: As wearable tech emerges as an excit- ing and celebrated consumer tech category, we at XOEye recognize its strong potential within the commercial and industrial space, instead. We're focusing on develop- ing end-to-end wearable tech solutions, stretching hardware, firmware and soft- ware that apply to countless blue collar verticals to increase productivity and oper- ations in ways never before achieved. BSD: Who are your target end users? AS: We are focused on two different types of users: The first being our own vertical markets, which can be best described as blue collar industries: manu- facturing/industrial, field technical servic- es and construction. We've seen tremen- dous opportunity to support these indus- tries in their collective pursuit to operate more efficiently and more safely. As an example, our technology can be used for managerial telepresence, employee train- ing, remote equipment diagnostics, and safety/compliance monitoring. The other component of our solu- tions lies with those entrepreneurs and visionaries who see opportunity for this technology in a variety of other fields.
