A f t e r m a r k e t D a i l y N e w s T h u r s d a y, N o v e m b e r 5 , 2 0 1 5 1 2 MYERS TIRE SUPPLY ADDS TIME-SAVING ALTERNATIVE TO STANDARD TIRE VALVE CAP Myers Tire Supply has introduced the Alligator V1B Plastic Flow-Through Valve Cap. The V1B can replace the stan- dard tire valve cap with the added bene- fits of pressure checks and inflation with- out removing the cap. For use on passenger cars and light trucks by fleets, car lots and rental car facilities, the V1B is a flow-through seal- ing cap and does not require an addition- al cap, saving time, materials and money. It is also safe for use on TPMS equipped vehicles with either metal clamp-in or rubber snap-in valves and provides the added benefit of protecting the valve core from corrosion. "Alligator's V1B Plastic Flow- Through Valve Cap can save auto dealer- ships and rental car fleets time and money since there is not a cap to remove or replace," said Lou DiFrancesco, Director of Global Sourcing and Product Management with Myers Tire Supply. "Since you're not removing them, you're also not dropping them into dirt, grime or gravel that could ruin the seal and lead to corrosion." Made to OE specifications and used by premium car manufactur- ers like Audi, Mercedes, Volkswagen and many more, the V1B is manufactured in Germany by Alligator. Alligator is also the manu- facturer of the original V2B double seal valve cap that has been proven in mil- lions of miles of service by the nation's largest trucking companies. Myers and Alligator have been partners in business for more than 40 years and have built three exclusive brands within the United States: sens-it tire pressure monitoring products, EHA tire valves and the V2B inflate through valve cap. About Myers Tire Supply Myers Tire Supply distributes a com- plete line of tire valve hardware, tire patches, TPMS sensors, tire changing tools, equipment and back shop sup- plies. It is also the automotive aftermar- ket's partner for revenue generation, cus- tomer satisfaction, safety and productivi- ty. DEI ANNOUNCES NEW ONYX SERIES PRODUCT LINE The new ONYX Series™ products from DEI offer the highest level of heat protec- tion for components that undergo severe duty or extreme heat. This new line com- bines two technologically advanced tex- tiles into a dual layer for maximum ther- mal control. The outer layer with its rich black finish is made from heat treated glass fiber bonded with molten aluminum, then formed into a tight weave for added strength and durability. The inner layer is a high temperature resistant fabric that is 89 percent silica. This all new product line provides heat protection for components up to 1350 degrees Fahrenheit. ONYX Series Black Pipe Shield. Part #010496. This new textile technology, combined with DEI's unique stainless steel standoff brackets, creates an air gap providing max- imum cooling and heat dissipation.
