A f t e r m a r k e t D a i l y N e w s W e d n e s d a y, N o v e m b e r 4 , 2 0 1 5 4 PEX ABS SENSORS FOR DOMESTIC, EUROPEAN, ASIAN APPLICATIONS In recent years, PEX created a program that is both relevant and obtainable. It started with what it knew, and built from there. After several years of hard work, the Active and Passive ABS Sensor pro- gram of PEX is continuously expanding and currently includes more than 1,200 applicable references for the North American market. The company stocks a wide variety of sensors with coverage for European, Asian, Korean and domestic applications. Its product management department identifies new applications as soon as they are released in order to anticipate and fulfill customer needs. The ABS Sensor detects wheel revo- lutions and sends a signal to the ABS control device. The control device meas- ures all four wheels and compares their relative speeds during braking. If neces- sary, the control device will regulate the brake pressure to one or more wheels to equalize their speeds, preventing the brakes from locking up and allowing the driver to maintain control over the vehi- cle. After the successful introduction of PEX ABS Sensors for domestic, European and Asian applications for pas- senger vehicles in North America, the c o m p a n y progressed to an offering of ABS Sensors for heavy- duty applica- tions as well. With its OE manufacturing back- ground and highly-trained quality assur- ance department, PEX strives for per- fection in every part to ensure customer satisfaction with form, fit, and function, and is proud to deliver a high-quality alternative to OE with the quality and reliability its customers expect and appreciate. CLOUD-RIDER DESIGNS' GRILL INSERTS: STYLISH PROTECTION FOR YOUR RIDE Cloud-Rider Designs Ltd. has been in business since 1995 and has become a leader in Canadian automotive acces- sories manufacturing. Specializing in stainless steel, the company is the origi- nator of the stainless steel grill insert. When Cloud-Rider first started, the owner was looking for something that would offer protection against rocks, bugs and debris, but would also fit the vehicle as though it came with it. There were some options available, but nothing that seemed durable enough and looked good. Thus, stainless steel was tried — and it was a hit. Stainless steel grill inserts from Cloud-Rider Designs offer a custom look for your vehicle but are very easy to install and require no removal of the existing grill. The company's design team measures every grill first to ensure a good fit. They attach using special made clips that attach to the exist- ing grill and screws. All the material is made out of compatible steel to prevent any rusting issues. They are extremely durable, and the company still sees some of the early versions on trucks on the road today. They are easy to maintain; just wash with soap and a good scrub and they look like new. There are five designs available. One's the original, called the Classic, and the Round, which is very popular with GMC owners looking for some- Continued on Page 101 AN INDEPENDENT PUBLICATION NOT AFFILIATED WITH SEMA & APPEX Lee M.
