Aftermarket Daily News Thursday, November 3, 2016 3 4 SAVE ON TIME, MATERIALS WITH SATA RPS SINGLE USE CUPS SATA ® RPS ® Single Use Cups save not only time, but save paint and cleaning materials too. The SATA RPS Rapid Preparation System is a vented system that allows a constant and even flow rate for constant color match and constant film build from a full cup down to the last drop. SATA's vented RPS system is not just used for painting – it is also used for mixing with graduations from 1 to 1, all the way to 10 to 1, and everything in between. The cups can be used for mix- ing, spraying and, when the job is com- plete, storage. The minimal components of just the cup, lid and strainer make it easy for painters to use, and save cleanup time too. No need for adapters when used on SATA spray guns, eliminating unwanted paint debris which gathers on adapters and in the paint passages of other disposable cup and gun brands. The short fluid passage of the SATA guns, along with the QCC, Quick Cup Connect system has eliminated threads in the fluid passage, making cleanup easy with much less waste. The RPS cups also have the built-in flexibility of the cup lid "neck," which allows painters to tilt the cups forward or side to side, to spray at many different angles, on parts, rocker panels and bumper covers. This flexi- bility assists in making the RPS a great solution for more difficult paint jobs. SATA RPS is available in three sizes: 0.3 liter (10 ounce), 0.6 liter (20 ounce) and 0.9 liter (30 ounce) for any sized job application. Depending upon which type of paint you are spraying, there are also options of strainers from 200 micron plug-in sieves, 200 micron flat sieves or 125 micron flat sieves. The vented RPS cups allow for all of the paint and other materials to be sprayed from the cup. No costly ounces of leftover unused material in an RPS cup. Mix only what you need, get the same results and you don't have the extra material that will go to waste. To try the cost-effective SATA RPS cups in your shop, ask your local SATA dealer for samples or for a demonstra- tion. Learn more at booth #10609. JW SPEAKER CORP DESIGNS WORLD'S FIRST DYNAMICALLY 'ADAPTIVE' TECHNOLOGY FOR MOTORCYCLE AFTERMARKET J.W. Speaker Corporation, a leading U.S.-based lighting firm specializing in innovative LED solutions for OEMs and the aftermarket, is offering the first dynamically "adaptive" technology for the motorcycle aftermarket. Dubbed the "Adaptive Series," this new technology solves the fundamental problem of night-time visibility, elimi- nating dark corners of the road typically found with current aftermarket and OEM motorcycle headlights. The Adaptive Series headlights are designed with advanced electronics and embedded sen- sors calculating bank angles on a real- time basis, automatically directing a light array up or down in the foreground as the motorcycle leans. Additionally, these headlights intelligently "tune" low beam and banking optics in a way that truly maximizes visibility around every corner. With the Adaptive Series headlight technology, J.W. Speaker has delivered a technological breakthrough that dramati- cally improves motorcycle comfort and safety. Tim Speaker, Co-President of J.W. Speaker Corporation, explains, "Our focus on innovation, particularly for the motorcycle indus- try where we have estab- lished ourselves as a market leader in LED lighting technology, has resulted in a breakthrough already recognized by OEMs as a 'must-have' moving forward. The exciting opportunity here for J.W. Speaker and our distribution partners is to retrofit millions of motorcycles with our new Adaptive Series LED headlights, and in doing so, set a new standard for exceptional night-time visibility." The new Adaptive Series headlights feature J.W. Speaker's innovative solid optics, which provide best-in-class illu- mination. Units are designed as a plug and play solution for a wide range of motorcycles, available in a PAR56 (7- inch round) motorcycle fairing mount, the Model 8790 Adaptive Series and a PAR46 (5.75-inch round) motorcycle mounting bucket, the Model 8690 Adaptive Series. J.W. Speaker Corporation is bring- ing its line of 4x4 LED off-road lights along to the SEMA Show. Look for them in booth #31267 in the Upper South Hall. The SEMA Show will be a great chance to see the adaptive LED headlight in action. For more information, stop by booth #31267 or go to www.jwspeaker.com. GALAXY EXPANDS ITS SOLID TIRE LINE Galaxy tires from the Alliance Tire Group (ATG) have earned a global repu- tation for quality, performance and great return on investment thanks to tires that are purpose-built for the real-world chal- lenges of construction, industrial and OTR job sites. Over the past year, the broad Galaxy brand has extended into a bold new line of solid tires primarily for forklifts, skid steers and wheel loaders, dubbed the Galaxy SDS (Severe Duty Solid) series. The Galaxy SDS solid tires bring celebrated Galaxy high-performance tread designs to the most punishing applications in the industry – from waste handling facilities to scrapyards to quar- ries. Wear-resistant, chip-resistant com- pounds extend service life and virtually eliminate downtime. Most Galaxy SDS solid tires are available with or without apertures. Diverse Applications "For decades, our Galaxy pneumatic OTR tires have been leaders in the indus- try for construction, industrial and other tough applications – both as OE fitments and replacement tires," says Seth Walters, Specialty Projects Manager for Alliance Tire Americas. "Now, we've upped the ante with our Galaxy SDS solid line for lit- erally the very toughest chal- lenges on earth, where conditions are severe and downtime isn't an option. "What we're seeing is great interest not only in the kinds of puncture-prone applications where you'd expect to see solids, like scrapyards handling facilities, but also in uses like dairy farms, where constant turning and braking on concrete can lead to excessive wear," Walters notes. "We're finding that people are put- ting these Galaxy SDS tires to work in a wide range of ways and seeing great per- formance and outstanding return on investment. "It's also exciting to see that the world's largest skid steer tire lineup just got larger," he adds. Growing Line Over the past year, ATG has steadily added to the Galaxy SDS line, and the growth continues. Currently, the line includes: Beefy Baby SDS R-4; LHD 500 SDS L-5; Super-Smooth LDS L-5; and YardMaster SDS. GREAT DAY, INC'S MAGNUM HITCH-N-RIDE In its many years of manufacturing, Great Day's goal has always been to build products that went beyond just getting by in serving the purpose for which they were intended. This mind- set has been especially true with prod- ucts that would be attached to a mov- ing vehicle. Every effort possible is made to ensure safety and dependabil- ity. When the line of Hitch-N-Ride cargo carriers were introduced, noth- ing was spared in making sure they would be the best money could buy. The Magnum Hitch-N-Ride is the flagship of all hitch-receiver cargo carriers. A hitch-receiver cargo carrier is a piece of equipment that is super handy when you need it, but it needs to be capa- ble of getting the job done. Problem is, with most cargo carriers on the market, they are flimsy and without adequate side rail support to secure the load and pro- vide tie-down points. Here's a hitch receiver cargo carrier with the frame and capacity to do some major hauling. The Magnum Hitch-N- Ride is a whopping 50 inches wide, 22 inches front-to-back and has 12-inch sides. It has a weight capacity of 500 pounds and has a super- strong aircraft aluminum frame for handling "rough n' tough" loads. The Magnum Hitch- N-Ride comes with a black, super tough, good looking, powder-coat fin- ish. The Magnum Hitch-R-Ride weighs only 26 pounds and ships by UPS. It is ideal for use on pickup trucks, Jeeps, autos or SUVs with 2-inch hitch receivers. The Model HNR2000TLB Hitch-N- Ride Magnum XL is available for vehi- cles with spare tire holders on the back requiring longer receiver bars. The XL also works well on motor homes and travel trailers for additional cargo carry- ing capacity. The Magnum Hitch-N- Ride is also available in models to use with ATVs and utility vehicles. For these models, the cargo bas- ket is positioned 7 inches higher than those of the truck and auto models to allow for traveling over uneven terrain in off-road areas. When it comes to needing extra cargo space for almost any kind of vehi- cle, the Magnum Hitch-N-Ride is the solution – a wise investment in a high- quality, great performing product. Made with pride in the U.S.A.! For more information, stop by booth #38123, call 866.649.1918 or visit www.greatdayinc.com.
