DIY Flavor Shack has been a pioneer in the electronic cigarette industry since 2005, and offers 10 years of devotion to research, development and educating consumers about everything involving E- Cigs. DIY Flavor Shack Inc. was the first company to introduce to the market Do It Yourself mixing, providing consumers with all the tools needed to create their own juice. DIY Flavor Shack is a Vapey Award Winner for having the "best tasting e-liquid" and is truly your one stop shop for everything E-Cig related. "I am a firm believer in healthier alternatives and becoming the change for a healthier and happier society. This is why it is my number one goal to educate individuals about what is going into their bodies and selling the components to cre- ate a product that they have 100 percent control over. This will guarantee their sat- isfaction and if they are satisfied, then we have done our job. It has never been about the profit; my satisfaction does not come from the money I can take from people's pockets, but the lives of those individuals that I have influenced to make healthier decisions," said Dawn Marie. DP: We bet on electric vehicles three years before the first one was on the road, and we bet that EV drivers would want to plug in wherever they parked their car for more than 30 minutes. We set out to build an EV charging network with the right business model – one where the property owner owns the sta- tion and can use it in a way that best suits their approach to attracting these EV drivers. CEDN: Has that strategy paid off? DP: Yes. ChargePoint is now the world's largest EV charging network, with more than 20,000 places for a driver to plug in their car. CEDN: What's next for ChargePoint? DP: We certainly need to have more pub- lic and workplace charging. In only five short years, there will be more than 10 times as many EVs on the road as there are today. That means more than three million EVs, and those EV drivers will want public and workplace charging. But we also recognize that EV drivers want to charge at home much faster than plug- ging into a standard wall outlet allows them to, and they want their home charg- ing to have all the benefits that they enjoy when charging in the public with our mobile app. CEDN: Tell our readers about your new home charging station. DP: This is our third year at the International CES ® , and the one we are most excited about, because it is here that we are introducing our newest product to the world: ChargePoint Home, the world's most advanced EV home charging station. Most charging stations for the home provide electrici- ty, but not intelligence. With ChargePoint Home, you are getting a highly evolved charging station, pro- viding a host of features and conven- iences. ChargePoint Home is WiFi enabled and seamlessly integrates with your ChargePoint mobile app, allow- ChargePoint ( Cont'd. from p. 1) ing you to do everything you do when charging outside of home, such as remote scheduling and tracking of your charging sessions, monitoring of your energy consumption, tracking of your fuel and greenhouse gas savings, remote start/stop of your charging ses- sions and more. CEDN: It is the same ChargePoint expe- rience, now at home? DP: Yes, it is, but it is also much more. This product is small and attractive, but what makes it a real game changer is that it will be an important part of the smart home of tomorrow. A smart home is one with an electric vehicle and EV charger in the garage, solar panels on the roof, and home energy and electronics inte- grated and automated. The smart home provides a higher quality of life at a much lower cost, and it is much cleaner than the fossil fuel and electric grid standard of today. By going smart, you are also going green. CEDN: How does ChargePoint help bring this smart home to people's lives? DP: The first thing is to make getting an electric car into your garage easier. We are doing very well at that by help- ing create a market for EVs. The next step is to take ChargePoint Home and integrate it into the home's energy and consumer electronics. That is exactly what we are doing now with SunEdison, the world's leading solar company. ChargePoint and SunEdison have come together to offer home own- ers EV charging and home solar as a single integrated solution. We call it Power Through the Roof. We are very excited about this. ChargePoint Home also works with Nest and we are work- ing hard to make sure it integrates with other home automation solutions like Apple's HomeKit. ChargePoint is a company that is instrumental in disrupt- ing two century old industries: automo- biles and energy. Now, we are in a posi- tion to be instrumental in creating a whole new industry – the smart home. "Her Dexcom G4 PLATINUM CGM has made this so much easier. It provides regular trend information that determines how we change course in her care – critical information for better care. But more than that, it gives us security, safety and peace of mind. I cannot imag- ine our lives without it," said mother Hallie. From the very beginning, Avery's parents were determined to not let her diagnosis hold her back. With the Dexcom G4 PLATINUM, it has made it easier to live life as any 8 year old would. With her "Dexie" by her side, Dexcom ( Cont'd. from p. 4) Avery is able to participate in a variety of activities, such as cheerleading, gym- nastics and dance. In school, her Dexcom helps determine whether she is in a prime learning zone or if she's too high or low, and the necessary adjust- ments can be made when she needs to take a test. It gives her more independence. Her parents feel secure letting Avery spend the night at a friend's house or going out to play on her own. "As parents, it gives you more than hope, it gives your child tangible and endless possibilities," said mother Hallie. "The Dexcom CGM has enabled her to not let diabetes interfere with her life." BW: Beeline Cases was born out of necessity. I was snowboarding with my son at Whistler a couple years ago, and we were on the chair lift when I took my five-day-old iPhone 5S out to take a picture. Next thing I knew, it was fly- ing 150 feet through the air into deep powder below us. While driving home, I came up with this idea and pulled off the road to scratch it down on my notepad. Eighteen months later, it's reality. CEDN: What makes Beeline unique? BW: I designed a cell phone case that is minimal, durable, stylish and functional. The Beeline carabiner will secure your phone to your backpack, belt loop or purse, so you never have to worry about losing it. Beeline has a sleek built-in carabiner on a Kevlar cord that extends out of the phone case so you can use it to call, text or take a photo and then simply retract the cord and the carabiner returns to its hidden position. CEDN: Who do you feel your end user for the brand is? BW: The Beeline case is great for all Beeline Cases ( Cont'd. from p. 1) consumers. It's a well-built everyday cell phone case. If you're an active per- son that enjoys hiking, riding, golfing, running, hunting, paddling, fishing, traveling, working or anywhere in between, you can be secure with a Beeline by your side. This would also be a great tool for fire, police or mili- tary personnel. Also, we can all tell a story about leaving our cell phone on the airplane, or in a restaurant or bar, but a Beeline case keeps your phone by your side. CEDN: What phone cases are you man- ufacturing? BW: Currently we offer cases for the iPhone 5/5S, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+. We are in development on Samsung cases for Q2 2015. We have a great color palette and are also licensed to manufacture Mossy Oak camouflage cases. It's a fresh line-up, great colors and I'm looking forward to seeing the response at retail. Beeline is ready for business. Visit Beeline Cases at booth #75780 Eureka Park at the Sands Convention Center.
