G a m i n g N e w s W e d n e s d a y, S e p t e m b e r 2 5 , 2 0 1 3 6 AIRISTAR CLEANS THE AIR, SO EVERYONE IN THE BUILDING CAN BREATHE COMFORTABLY Airistar Technologies' new A1050 and A550 customized air purification sys- tems can remove up to 99.97 percent of airborne contaminants, and as much as 65 percent of tobacco smoke in the first purification cycle. The newly custom-designed system tucks Airistar's Hexaflow purification process away in a durable, customized cabinet designed to complement virtually any casino interior. The units provide minimal distrac- tion while delivering maximum airflows ranging from 500 to 1,000 cubic feet per minute (CFM). These custom units can be developed into a theme for a casino floor, sports book, high-limit area, table game pit, slot area or even private gam- ing rooms. The cabinet can be matched to any existing wood, color decal, stain or Formica ® laminate. One A1050 unit can cover up to 2,000 square feet of an area; and one A550 unit can cover up to 1,000 square feet of an area. Both unit coverages depend upon the ceiling height. The durable construction of the inner core offers a five-year warranty. Airistar offers patented technology that helps reduce the impact of second-hand smoke, tobacco products, allergens, dust, odors and other harmful contaminants. The six- stage system has a quick-change filter package that can be serviced in seconds for easy maintenance. The A1050 has a HEPA filter can capture 97.97 percent of con- taminants larger than 0.3 microns at a higher airflow rate. There are also two ultra-violet, titanium- coated (UV-C) bulbs in the A1050, and one bulb in the A550, to prevent mold and microorganism growth. MULTIMEDIA UNVEILS NEXT GEN IN CABINET SERIES AND NEW GAMES AT G2E An interview with Pat Ramsey, CEO and President, Multimedia Games. GN: What was the most significant event or series of events affecting your company in the past year? PR: 2013 has already proven to be a huge year for us, and it's only halfway through. Our slot tournament system, TournEvent™, is continuously evolving, with over 170 casinos installing our latest version so far. In addition, this spring we launched the first-ever nationwide slot tournament with National TournEvent of Champions ® . More than 75 casinos are participating from coast to coast with the final battle for the crown and over $250,000 in cash prizes happening during G2E. We've also expanded into several new markets, such as Nevada, New Jersey, and Illinois, which are all impor- tant for our company's future. The wide- spread acceptance of one of our premium product series, High Rise Games ® , is another major aspect of what has made the last year a true banner year for Multimedia Games. GN: What do you anticipate to be your greatest challenge in the year ahead? PR: With our growth into new markets and our desire to increase our product offerings, the challenge lies in managing that growth and making sure we have the right people on board. We've grown our game develop- ment pipeline by almost 50 percent over the last couple of years, and we want to contin- ue that growth over the next year. GN: Are you introducing any new products? PR: This year at G2E we're unveiling the next generation in our Player HD Cabinet Series. This new cabinet will provide players with that in-your-face, 360° Experience™ they've been crav- ing. In addition to this cabinet, we'll also be launching our 100- line games featuring Must-Hit Jackpots™, such as Carnival in Rio 2 and Blazin' Streak™. Players will love these games because of the "2 for 1" paylines that give them more bang for their buck. GN: What products do you see as being hottest this year? PR: Our new cabinet should make a big splash with customers, as well as the new additions to our High Rise Games series, such as Moby Dick™. It has some of the best graphics and animations that I've seen in a long time, and I really feel that players will be drawn to it. GN: How do you see the next year in terms of economy, sales, technology, and product evolution? PR: Our focus for the next year is really to continue to partner with our casino operators to ensure that we are driving business to their floor with our products and pro- motions. We don't see any funda- mental changes to the capital replacement cycle, so in order for us to continue our growth, we need to remain focused on producing games that not only play well, but have longevity. We'll also continue to work on building a culture that values and provides great customer service. In addition, our first online venture, TournEvent Ace™ app, was released this summer as not only a second chance for casinos to send anoth- er player to the final round of National TournEvent of Champions, but also as a way to promote TournEvent on their floors. And with the significant growth in our new markets, we will remain ded- icated to developing and maintaining those relationships. HIGH 5 GAMES PREMIERS SUPER SYMBOLS High 5 Games is excited to announce the rapidly approaching premier of Super Symbols! Super Symbols is the slot game feature that is gearing up to be the next big thing in the industry. Not since the release of Super Stacks in 2011 has a slot feature so innovative and exciting been released onto casino floors. This much anticipated feature will be debuting on H5G's upcoming release, Ocean's Glory, a 4 x 6 reel slot machine game featuring both Super Symbols and Super Wilds. With Super Symbols, extra- large major and wild symbols can appear on the middle reels of the game, and in Ocean's Glory, the middle four reels all spin together. The extra-large symbols are sized 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4 and appear in addition to traditionally sized symbols. Super Symbols count as if each space they cover is occupied by that symbol, making it easier for players to achieve large wins on multiple lines at once. The animations in Super Symbols are bigger than ever, and not to be missed! Super Symbols are inspired by Super Stacks, one of High 5 Games' most ground breaking features. Super Stacks makes for compelling game play, as long stacks of symbols are more prone than ever to show up on reels to create big wins, com- plete with stunning animated graphics. Super Stacks wowed the industry when the feature was first introduced on smash hits Black Widow and Golden Goddess. Both these games rapidly rose up the charts and were named IGT's top per- formers in 2011. Super Stacks remains a tried and true feature and continues to create leading games that delight players around the world. High 5 Games' two recent mega- hits, Shadow of the Panther and Jaguar Princess, both feature Super Stacks, which undoubtedly helped bring them into the spotlight and earn them recognition. Shadow of the Panther has proudly gone on to be named High 5 Games' top per- forming game in history, based on casino sales and performance, stealing the slot throne from former forerunner, Golden Goddess. Based on the overwhelming success of H5G games featuring Super Stacks, it's possible that once Super Symbols releases, it could become High 5 Games' most popular slot feature to date. Stay tuned for the release of Ocean's Glory and Super Symbols, coming this year. For more information, visit booth #2627, or go online to www.high5games.com.
