This includes a sophisticated PLC (programmable logic controller) to ensure safety and dependability. It utilizes the same advanced technology as the automotive and manufacturing precision industries. Safety is the most important aspect of any elevator, which is why Residential Elevators has implemented several layers to safeguard their passengers. In the event there is a power outage, the elevator automatically lowers to the next landing to allow passengers to exit safely. Another safety feature is the door lock system. The door and gate must be closed securely in order for it to move. The Photo Electric Landing System ensures floor leveling accuracy and relays the information to the main control system. There is also an Infrared Protection option with over 200 infrared beams. The elevator will immediately stop if any beam is disrupted.
