Aftermarket Daily News 7 3 Tuesday, October 30, 2018 product training and marketing intel to help boost sales exceeds what national brands offer. We do a lot of hand holding and take pride in our customers routinely telling us that we enable them to separate themselves from the pack. This in turn helps them retain healthy margins. ADN: What are the hallmarks of ClearPlus' values and business model? RC: For the last 20 years, ClearPlus has consistently maintained its ethos of trust and reliability and has stayed focused on its core skills. This has enabled the com- pany to successfully launch great func- tioning products on universal platforms that help its customers maintain simplic- ity (no duplication in coverage), lower SKU count yet offer as good or better coverage than with competitor brands. Customers see the difference in ease, safety and OE level profiles in our con- nection systems. All these elements allow creating better stocking dealer programs as everyone in the food chain is trying to carry lesser inventory yet not lose sales or waste an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out adapters. Easily accessible videos, integrated to arm types for each product series and to vehicle applications, are available. Soon these will also be available on a mobile app. ADN: What are the featured products and attractions at AAPEX? RC: Intelli curve, the Hybrid-Beam plat- form product is clearly the best seller. With 11 SKUs, a pre-installed adapter and one additional, universal adapter in the package, it provides coverage for 98 ClearPlus (Cont'd. from p. 1) percent of passenger cars and light trucks on the roads. It's also widely usable on Class C RVs and Class 8 trucks. ClearPlus has amongst the best rear windshield programs in the industry, including import vehicles, and with few SKUs. The top four part numbers provide 80 percent coverage, the top eight provide 94 percent. Compare this to 25-plus SKUs required in most programs in the market. In the last year, the company has really focused on developing a full range of HD vehicle segment coverage includ- ing high value products for Class A RVs, motor coaches, transit buses and com- mercial delivery vehicles of all classes. At AAPEX, the complete range is on dis- play. Also highlighted are new display options – attractive free-standing floor racks, pallet dump boxes and end cap options for tighter spaces. Packaging has a clean, modern and engaging appeal across all product series and collateral marketing materials. We are truly excited to show these to our customers and prospects who are visiting AAPEX so they can appreciate first hand the incredible value we bring to the table. Our packaging is tri-lingual (English/Spanish/French), so the pro- gram is ready to be rolled out in many other parts of the world. We seek partner- ships with foreign buyers. With the abili- ty to provide factory direct programs from India and China, we are well posi- tioned to offer any desired fulfillment and supply chain solution. Many of the Wrangler appli- cations utilize Dee Zee's exclusive Hex Series aluminum extrusion that allows the products and mounted accessories to be customized by each individual customer for increased performance. Lights, cargo tie downs and hoop steps can be moved along the extrusion channel for specific positioning. The Hex Series doors pro- vide the open-air tubular feel to hit the trails with the roof removed. The factory doors can be securely mounted with optional garage mounting brackets. Dee Zee's products enhance the OE features of the Wrangler as well. Two sizes of aluminum tool boxes for the rear allow for valuables to be locked up when the roof is removed without hindering Dee Zee (Cont'd. from p. 1) access to rear compartments. An exclu- sive mounting system uses a pin system to release the box. The light mounting brackets for the hood are offset, allowing for users to fold down the windshield without removing the lights. Dee Zee's customized 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL is a must-see vehicle in the Upper South Hall, booth #30039. In addition to Jeep accessories, Dee Zee continues to manufacture a wide range of truck accessories as "the quality truck accessory people." The line includes tool boxes, transfer tanks, side steps, cab racks, bed protection and much more. Prior to today's stringent environmental laws, this was often done by soaking the motor parts in kerosene and "burning off" the organic material in a pit or metal container. Removing the material by hand is slow, expensive, often dam- aging to parts and physically unsafe for workers. Peyton simply asked, "If I can show you how you can reclaim your old motors safely without smoke and pollution, would you be interested?" The answer was an enthusiastic yes and the rest is history. The Controlled Pyrolysis ® process and the first fully contained "pyrolysis cleaning oven" were born and a new company incor- porated: Pollution Control Products Co. No more toxic solvents, acids and other dangerous materials. Although our first ovens were used by electric motor rebuilders, we quickly adapted and developed ovens for use by other industries, including automotive engine and parts rebuilders, paint and powder coaters, oil and gas producers, and plastics, fiber and chemical manu- facturers. Not only did our ovens solve safety and environmental issues, they helped companies dramatically increase production capacity, efficiency and profits. Pollution Control (Cont'd. from p. 1) Pollution Control furnaces are pollution-free! Pollution Control Pyrolysis Cleaning Furnaces' (burn-off ovens) labor-sav- ing controls are fully automatic and self adjusting. Their patented Controlled Pyrolysis process safely removes paints, epoxies, powder coat- ings and other organic materials from a wide range of metal parts, including automotive and marine engine blocks, fractional horse power stators, power station transformers, paint hooks and hangers, car skids and grates, water pumps, breaker plates, extruder screws and much more. How does it work? Resulting smoke and gases driven off in the heating chamber are processed through a powerful after- burner eliminating all hydrocarbon emis- sions before exhausting into the atmos- phere, making the pyrolysis process pol- lution-free. The industry leader in thermal stripping technology. Today, Pollution Control industrial clean- ing ovens cover the entire field of ther- mal cleaning and parts reclamation with more than 8,000 installations in 43 coun- tries around the world. We are recognized as the industry leader with ovens in use in over 800 industrial classifications, including branches of the U.S. military.
