Aftermarket Daily News 7 1 Thursday, November 1, 2018 Midax Announces Latest Service in Suite of Payment and Loyalty Solutions for Fuel Private Fleet Networks (PFN) was creat- ed out of need from the fleet marketing community to drastically decrease their various processing fees and be able to better cross promote with their conven- ience stores. Now marketers can elimi- nate their domestic, foreign and remote fleet fees and even form their own regional networks. When most of their business is com- ing from a radius of less than 300 miles, it became apparent that a regional type of program was needed. This revolutionary new program allows fleet marketers to better control their business and expenses while expanding their fleet program. PFN has also developed a great prepaid and ACH fleet program for those cus- tomers that are credit challenged or who operate a seasonal business. Whether you have un-attended cardlocks or full-ser- vice locations, the PFN Fleet program will work with all Point of Sales and Island Card Readers. There is also the option to create a points- based rewards program for fleet drivers and redeem those points for discounted fuel or mer- chandise in stores. Thanks to PFN, the days of ever increas- ing fleet fees are over. Kris Chappelear, General Manager of Company Card LLC, said, "We're excited to join forces with Midax to pro- vide best in class fleet, consumer, loyalty and gift card processing. Our combined products, services and expertise deliver quality, durable and field proven solu- tions. "Our Private Fleet Network (PFN) offers the industry's best fleet fueling functionality with regional transaction networking. "Because PFN seamlessly integrates with all leading retail POS systems and cardlock site con- trollers, regional networks can be easily implemented with a low cost of entry. Similarly, PFN offers Instant Regional Networks that leverage existing propri- etary card formats that eliminate the time and expense of reissuing cards." From hams, franks and bacon, to luncheon meats and specialty items, Kunzler & Company proudly manufactures over 500 quality meat products. Its dinner hams range in shape, size and even sea- sonal packaging, but it's the distelfink logo that keeps the tradition around the holidays. It's because of the strong rela- tionship the company has with its cus- tomers that it offers a corporate gift pro- gram so employers can give a ham to their employees to share with the family around the holiday season. Aside from the holidays, the very foundation of the company is built on the Kunzler franks. People have come to know and love its hot dogs, from beef franks to poultry, and even blends spe- cially formulated for the roller grill. Nothing beats the experience of walking into a c-store and smelling those deli- cious franks on the grill. The company has even created a one-of-a-kind product called the Bacon Roller. Using its award-winning bacon, it wraps the franks with a strip of crispy heaven that's designed to stay on the product as it rotates on the grill. Aside from being wrapped around a sausage, the bacon can be found in all types of varieties. Some of the fan favorites are the limited time offer dry rubs such as Black Forest, Smokey BBQ, Sweet Cinnamon and Black Pepper. The flavors are so unique, it's no wonder people look for the Kunzler name everywhere they go. The company's products can be found in supermarkets, delicatessens, con- venience stores, schools, theme parks, sports complexes, finer restaurants and quality-conscious kitchens throughout the United States. With three manufacturing facilities, food safety is always something the company takes seriously, which is why it is happy to advertise an SQF score of "excellent" for all locations. For the last 117 years, it has per- fected the art of pro- ducing products for various segments like food service, retail, private label and even contract packing. Two of its facilities are conveniently located in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, which is considered the "Hub of the Highways." With such posi- tioning, the company is able to distrib- ute convenience store items from New York down to Georgia, and as far west as Indiana. Even with all of the hustle and bustle of present-day business, the company is proud to service large national accounts as well as the mom and pop shops we all know and love. Safe, Easy Defueling for Natural Gas with WEH Defueling Nozzles Defueling or emptying CNG cylinders bundles (e.g. for trailers) is a frequent challenge for service technicians. Service staff must be sufficiently trained to ensure that the procedure is performed properly and safely. When it comes to emptying CNG tanks, a distinction is made between emergency defueling and defueling for maintenance purposes, such as for repairs to the natural gas tank. The defueling nozzle TK23 CNG by WEH ® was designed for this particular purpose and it is ideal for emptying cylinder bundles, that means for dis- charging CNG from cylinder bundles. The nozzles are equipped with push- pull actuation and the unique WEH Jaw locking mechanism for extra-easy opera- tion. Simply attach the nozzle to the receptacle and push the sliding sleeve to the front to create a pressure-tight con- nection. Now open the shutoff device behind the receptacle and defueling can begin. The plastic thermal covering pro- tects service technicians' hands against frostbite. The defueling nozzles TK6 CNG for passenger cars and TK21 CNG for buses and trucks are available for defueling CNG tanks within vehicles. The defueling nozzles are used for maintenance and inspection of natural gas vehicles. All pressure and fuel tanks must be emptied for any maintenance measures. Defueling nozzles by WEH have proven to be the ideal tool for this pur- pose. Defueling takes place via the vehicle's fueling connection. Simply attach the defueling nozzle to the receptacle, turn the opening spindle until it stops and the receptacle is pushed open. Now the fuel tanks can be emptied via the medium out- let at the side. Of course, WEH also provides a comprehensive product portfolio for nat- ural gas refueling, ranging from fueling nozzles, breakaways and filters for fuel- ing stations through to receptacles and check valves for vehicles. WEH was early to recognise the future of alternative fuels, and has since become a global market leader for alter- native fueling components. As early as 1986, WEH began extending its product range to include alterna- tive refueling compo- nents for natural gas and hydrogen and founded its WEH GmbH Gas Technology affiliate. The NGV1 CNG fueling system developed by WEH has become a standard applied worldwide. WEH is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). The compa- ny employs more than 160 staff and con- ducts business in more than 40 countries worldwide. The company established its U.S. office in the Houston area in 2008. From Houston, Texas, the time zone is central to service all the U.S. customers from East to West. For more information, go to www.weh.us.
