Filmed and produced by the company's own in- house media team, the 30 second spot candidly exhibits how a strong founda- tion of core values has built WeatherTech into what it is today. When the cameras stopped rolling, the con- struction did not. More facilities are being built in order to house American machinery, workers and tooling as the company continues to grow. The tremendous amount of pride WeatherTech has in investing in the American manufacturing infrastructure has driven the company to become the leader in aftermarket automotive acces- sories. The ability to think outside the box, utilize cutting edge resources and moti- vate one another to reach their highest potential are just a few of the key compo- WeatherTech (Cont'd. from p. 1) nents to the strength behind such wide- spread marketing. Conducting regular field research on target markets and col- laboratively critiquing creatives promotes an innovative work environment to ensure all aspects of marketing remains current and engaging. A wide variety of marketing strategies coupled with consumer and vehicle data gives the company excellent insight about its customers, making it pos- sible to narrow in on what is working and how to adjust messages to accurately fit the audience. The power behind its mar- keting and its already recognized top of the line products help stores sell the WeatherTech brand with ease. WeatherTech is committed to pro- viding customers with the most efficient and high-quality American-made auto- motive accessories available. Dan-Am Air's High-Quality Materials The system's airlines are made of powder- coated, aircraft-grade extruded aluminum. Easy to install, modular and reusable, lightweight, corrosion resistant and guaranteed not to leak. Dan-Am Air fittings are constructed of a reinforced Nylon composite material, with a double Nitrile seal. The manifolds and ball valves are nickel plated solid brass, and all threaded connectors are high grade steel. Dan-Am Air can be easily adapted to your current system with the variety of threaded connection options available. Modular Design "Compared to a more typical airlines sys- tem, ours is reusable," Gravenhof says. "You can put a system up, and take it down and put it back together very easily. It's modular, and can be easily added on to or changed if need be. Dan-Am Air (Cont'd. from p. 4) Designed with simplicity in mind, DAA allows you to do-it-yourself. Measure, cut, de-burr, then simply "Press-to-Connect." The direct result being lower installation times and costs. All fittings arrive pre-torqued for imme- diate assembly and pressurization. Creating Efficiency, Saving Money "The cost of a reusable and versatile sys- tem like Dan-Am Air can pay off quick- ly," Gravenhof says. "It's a simple, effec- tive system, with a do-it-yourself instal- lation option. It saves time. It saves ener- gy. It ultimately saves money." The airlines and fittings have what Gravenhof refers to as a "smooth, full- bore" design, where there are no restric- tions. The air flows easily and quickly with no leaks or contaminations. Kits for testing all vehicle fluids provide on-site, fast and accurate results. Kits test all vehicle fluids for concentra- tion and condition. It's time to forget about incomplete and inconsistent service schedules. It's time to treat automotive fluids like the critical operating compo- nents they truly are. When fluid levels and condition are evaluated regularly, the service life of a vehicle is maximized, breakdowns are avoided and repair costs are minimized. With regular service, fluids will protect systems and components. Transmission fluid is subject to vis- cosity breakdown, causing loss of its lubricating and cooling properties. The contamination of automatic transmission fluid with antifreeze has become a grow- ing problem. Operating a transmission with contaminated or ineffective fluid results in poor performance, accelerated wear and early transmission failure. Differentials in 4WD, AWD and RWD drive vehicles – a visual inspection of the fluid can help determine if it needs to be changed. Lubricants containing metal particles indicate internal wear. Fluid that is darkened in color may indicate overheat- ing and gear lube that is milky in color is likely contaminated with water. Engine antifreeze/coolant contains supplemental coolant additives that ACUSTRIP (Cont'd. from p. 1) inhibit corrosion and scale buildup, lubri- cate water pumps, protect against freez- ing and improve heat transfer. Test strips provide a fast and simple manner for test- ing SCA and freeze-point as well as pH in antifreeze/coolant. Power Steering fluid – inspect for evidence of wear metals, indicating steer- ing gear or pump wear, or a darkened color that may indicate overheating. Either condition calls for replacement of the fluid to avoid the higher cost of replacing the steering gear. Brake fluid – brake fluid that is dark- ened in color may have been overheated and may contain rust sediment. High lev- els of moisture indicate that corrosion is occurring in system components. Battery fluid (electrolyte) – reading a battery's specific gravity with a refrac- tometer is a simple and effective way to measure its state of charge in ampere- hours. This is necessary because specific gravity decreases during discharge and increases as the battery is recharged. Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) – contam- ination usually occurs through exposure to outside elements, such as water, fuel, grease or particulate matter. If you suspect DEF contamination, there are test strips that change color if oil is present in the fluid. Remember, all vehicle fluids should be inspected, tested and evaluated regularly.
