The Market's recent intro- duction of C11, the industry's newest destination for gift-oriented housewares, tabletop and specialty food, has generat- ed strong and immediate interest and attendance from buyers and suppliers alike. Last January, C11 presented 100- plus resources in a mix of manufacturer showrooms and sales agency presenta- tions doubling the number of lines repre- sented in Summer 2015, and also drove a 31 percent increase in housewares buy- ing audience. "Our progress on C11 is very encouraging. Partnerships with leading multi-line reps in the gourmet, gift and housewares industries and creation of smaller showrooms designed to accommodate specialty gourmet lines have helped us to aggregate lines quickly and create a compelling prod- uct offering for specialty gourmet retailers," said Dorothy Belshaw, President of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. "On the buyer side, partnerships with leading buying groups – like GC and HTI – helped bring western-based kitchen- ware retailers to last summer's C11 launch, and we look forward not just to continuing, but also to building on that solid attendance base for the coming Market." Key kitchenware brands represented on Las Vegas Market's C11 are Andreas; BIA/Danesco; Enclume Pot Racks & Storage; Epicurean; Fagor; Frieling; Ginkgo; Hammer Stahl Cookware and Cutlery; Harold Import Company; JK Adams; Kitchen Innovations; Kitchen IQ; Kyocera; Le Souk Ceramique; Microplane Grace Mfg.; Omega Juicers & Blenders; Oenophilia; Peugeot; RSVP International; Simax; Simply Baked; Talisman; Tovolo; USA Pan; Victorinox; Vitamix; Zak Designs; and Zojirushi America Corp. Another 50 spe- cialty tabletop and housewares resources will be presented throughout Las Vegas Market's Building C, including a concentra- tion of specialty table- top suppliers on C- ONE and leading lifestyle housewares lines on C10. Highlights include: Abiammo Tutto; Alessi; BODRUM; Canvas Home; Corksicle; Fred & Friends; Harman; JURA Inc.; Lenox Corporation; Lunares; Mariposa; MATCH; Michael Aram; MEPRA; Riedel USA; Rolf Glass; S.A.L.T. Sisters; SKYROS DESIGNS; S'well; Tamara Childs/Gilder; Umbra; Vagabond House; and Waterford- Wedgwood-Royal Doulton. Outside of Building C, the newly expanded Pavilions at Las Vegas Market also will showcase myriad gourmet housewares and tabletop resources. Retailer Carly Winslow of Ampersand Shops (Edina, Minnesota) commented, "I was very impressed with the Las Vegas Market. It was very easy and efficient to shop. We discovered new vendors and had an opportunity to meet with our existing vendors in a very accommodating environment. It provided a fresh and exciting per- spective on the tabletop and gift market." Beyond exhibits, the Summer Las Vegas Market will present a vari- ety of special events, including complimentary happy hours, daily Brunch Bars, product demonstrations, free food and wine tastings, and live music; as well as a full schedule of educational programming addressing design trends, retailing strategies and more. Las Vegas Market also offers an unparalleled range of buyer amenities, including a new campus shuttle, complimentary shuttle to/from host hotels, free parking in an onsite parking garage, fully-equipped Internet lounges, buyers' lounges, grab- and-go breakfasts, greeters, nightly entertainment and convenient café and food kiosks. Las Vegas Market is a leading furni- ture, home decor and gift marketplace in the western U.S., presenting 2,700-plus resources in an unrivaled market destina- tion.
