These cables can be utilized in a wide range of industries: telecommuni- cations, data storage, medical, enter- prise networking and network interface card (NICs) applications. BizLink's end-to-end cable solutions are fully customizable to fit specific cable lengths and meet any signal integrity performance requirements. Active Optical Cables AOC technology was invented as an upgrade for data centers and high per- formance computing applications by using optical fiber in place of tradition- al copper wiring, while still accepting electrical inputs. The active chip con- verts electric signals to optical, improving transmission speed and dis- tance without sacrificing compatibility with standard electrical interfaces. Furthermore, AOCs can be attached to different connectors: Enhanced Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP+) AOCs serve short-reach high-speed transmis- sion applications with a data rate of up to 10Gbps per channel. Signal integrity is maintained while providing an improve- ment on bit error rate performance. More traditional connectors such as HDMI and DisplayPort are also available, allowing medical centers and home theaters to use AOCs for transfer of high-resolution audio and video. Features include: 850nm VCSEL and PIN pho- todetector; sup- ply voltage 3.3V nominal; typical power dissipation 528mW; up to 300 meter transmission distance for 10GE applica- tions; and hot-pluggable and high-densi- ty transceiver IO solution BizLink Technology Founded in 1996 and public since 2011, BizLink Technology was created with the goal of becoming the leading global supplier of interconnect solu- tions. Today, BizLink has state-of-the- art facilities around the globe and is a trusted supplier and partner to many of the world's leading companies. Advanced designs, streamlined manu- facturing and business processes, atten- tive customer service, as well as effi- cient low-cost manufacturing have enabled the company to produce low- cost, high- quality solu- tions backed up by industry-leading support. AOC assemblies have been in cir- culation for a couple years, but haven't been an economically realistic solution until very recently. BizLink's addition of this product to its portfolio is oppor- tune, with market demand matching costs and technological maturity. BizLink takes pride in its excellent cus- tomer service and can guarantee prod- uct reliability and short lead times. Its AOC assemblies are not so much a sale of its product, but a partnership to bring a vision into reality. TECHSLING PLUS+ ADDED TO TECHSLINGER PRODUCT LINE Nathan Crawford, inventor of the TechSling ® technology holster, is show- casing The TechSling Plus+. Like its flagship TechSling product, The Plus+ is designed for easy accessibility and trans- port, yet this is made with a much larger phone pocket with an elastic strap and an even larger zippered accessory pocket. The tablet pockets are the same design, able to hold tablets and smartphones with either slimline or heavy duty cases. Nathan Crawford states, "The prob- lem is not so much the loss of the device itself but the loss of the proprietary data that's stored on those devices, as well as privacy-protected data that belongs to your clients. Charts and health records are a big issue." About TechSlinger Michigan startup TechSlinger originated in 2012 when inventor Nathan Crawford became annoyed with the con- stant juggling of his iPad, iPhone and accessories, espe- cially during travel. In fact, he designed the first prototype for the TechSlinger holster in his hotel room while traveling. The wearable accessory is engi- neered for convenient transport of a tablet, phone and acces- sories. In addition to its flagship product, TechSlinger offers The Side Order, engineered for those who rely on their tablet while on the job, such as waitstaff and plant supervisors. All products are made in the U.S.A. For more information, visit www.tech slinger.com.
