C o n ve n i e n c e Re ta i l e r S h o w D a i l y Th u r s d a y, O c to b e r 9 , 2 0 1 4 3 4 RELIEF OTC OFFERS NEW HOPE FOR HEARTBURN SUFFERERS NATIONWIDE Relief OTC™, a new, fast-acting liquid antacid, has a question for millions of heartburn sufferers nationwide: Isn't it time to upgrade your medicine cabinet and demand a better option for heart- burn relief? That's just what the new product is setting out to do. Forgoing the chalky flavor and gritty texture of most antacids, Relief OTC is a great-tasting drink that begins to work instantly by neutralizing stomach acid at the source of pain. The product hit the shelves of CVS and Walgreens, along with other food and drug stores nationwide in late May, in hopes of taking the crowded heartburn remedy category by storm. "We have created something differ- ent for people who have all but given up in finding fast relief," said Doug daCosta, Executive Chairman of Tummy Company Inc., creator of Relief OTC. A longtime heartburn suffer- er, daCosta created the product to fill an unmet demand in the market for fast-act- ing, drinkable heartburn relief with no known side effects. An estimated 100 million Americans experience heartburn several times a month, according to the American Gastroenterological Association. Relief OTC comes in four-ounce and larger 12-ounce bottles. In addition to food and drug stores, the product can be found on Amazon and drugstore.com. For more information, visit www.reliefotc.com. THE NEXT GENERATION OF PETROLEUM CANOPY LIGHTING IS HERE SloanLED (www.sloanled.com) is excit- ed to introduce its third generation Progressive Down Light (PDL 3) at the NACS Show 2014. PDL 3 is a universal 1-for-1 upgrade for fuel station canopy lights. This luminaire sets a new standard with its revolutionary design, optimized radiation pattern and slim, smaller profile. Two new optional features have been added to the light. The light can be operated at two power levels, allowing the station owner to benefit from addi- tional light output or energy savings. The light also comes in two varieties – a clear lens and a textured lens. The tex- tured lens is designed with optical prop- erties to make the light source visible from a greater distance. This allows cus- tomers to identify the station and affords them the time to decide to stop. In either case, the inner reflective cavity focuses light on task areas while softly illumi- nating peripheral area for increased safety and security. The light is designed to be easy to install and does not require site surveys or additional mounting equipment. A shoebox (2' x 2') plate is also available, which can mount to existing square fixture housing. The plate can also mount to the canopy in order to hide the footprint of the previous HID fixture. This eliminates the need to touch-up, paint or install custom trims. PDL 3 maintains an IP 68 rating – the highest level for dust and water. This makes for a great, reliable solution – even in car washes! Start saving up to 80 percent energy cost compared with typical HID fixtures.
