"Right off the bat we were getting amazing, positive feedback," said ole Production Manager Ross Hardy. "I really have to commend ole MusicBox for being so progressive and fearless with the development of new technology. Our company is not afraid to invest the necessary resources to push us to the front of the line in this highly competitive area." MusicBox clients and users appear to be in full agreement. "The new MusicBox service is fantastic," said Christopher Richardson, Producer/ Director at Henge Production and Consulting in St. John's, Newfound land. "The search functions on the website are very intuitive and we love the WordGrid feature that helps us narrow down – with a few clicks – the perfect music for a scene. This is our first experience using the MusicBox website and it's been extremely positive. We were up and running in minutes―finding and auditioning very high quality material that was ideal for our project. An additional bonus is that the website works great on my iPad too so I don't have to be tied to the office when searching for music." Toronto-based music supervisor Danielle Lindy (Girth Music) noted that the new site is "fast, intuitive and easy to use." Lindy continued, "There are lots of great tracks in every style you can think of. The MusicBox team is extremely helpful as well. I really enjoy the personal service they offer with the website, music searches and licensing. It's a great people to work with and they really know their stuff. A wonderful resource!" From Raleigh, N.C., comes this comment from Emily Kennard at Trailblazer Studios: "The new site is great... our in-house guys are loving it." Calgary, Alberta's Steve Mason at Talking Light Media added: "We're really digging the new website. It is way more user-friendly and easier to preview things." "My clients love it," said MusicBox's Steve Smith. Le, Chief Operating Officer at Letus Corporation Years ago, a friend took me flying in his two-engine airplane and he let me control the plane. That was the most incredible experience ever. To this day, I still remember the revelation I learned about flying that day. That is if driving is a two-dimension world, flying is a three-dimension world. You not only have to be mindful of speed and turns, your are now required to be mindful of latitude. With a few "oops" moments later, I had the most exhilarating time of my life that afternoon. In many ways, I think the Helix will be just like flying for filmmakers. It allows a new dimension for your creativity. Last year at NAB 2012, we first introduced our Helix, a device that will enable user to rotate the camera on the optical axis while being mounted on tripod, jib, crane, slider, etc. She certainly turned heads with her debut. For the past year, we at Letus has been working tirelessly to perfect our Helix. While there are certainly many more features that we envision for our lovely lady Helix, we are happy to announce the first generation of Helix at this year show. Our first edition of Helix can accommodate cameras that are up to 40 pounds. A beautiful custom CNC Aluminum crafted from Swiss aluminum with stainless steel ball bearings and O-ring design allow for a quiet and smooth operation manually for via Kessler elektraDrive system. Up to this point, "flying" is not impossible in the film industry. However, it is available at a ridiculously high price that can only afforded by multimillion project. Staying true to our mission in bringing innovative yet affordable tool to the filmmaking industry, Letus is once again bringing you the newest dimension to your creativity at an affordable price. Aiming at sub $2,500 price point, we hope this will open doors for the start-up filmmaker to be able to take advantage of the system. Come by our booth (C12042) for a test flight. Disclaimer: We may be providing the planes for your flight. Please be responsible in your flying. We will not be held responsible for any crash due to insufficient practice. This includes but not limited to, dizziness, nausea caused by the operators. For more information, visit booth C12042 at NAB 2013 or go online to www.letus35.com.
