MOZELEY BUILDS WITH EFFICIENCY AND EXPERIENCE An interview with Chad Puckett, Vice President of D.R. Mozeley. CRSD: Tell our readers a little about your company. CP: We are a true turnkey GC; we have been in business for over 55 years and have built more than 1,700 convenience stores. We have a team of 90-plus employees, which make up petroleum, site work and concrete divisions. Established in 1958 by David R. Mozeley Sr., the firm continues today as a family-owned business that has the ability to complete your project on time and within budget. Nothing beats our experience in the petroleum construction industry with our in-house staff of pump and tank installers, concrete finishers, grading operators, project managers, esti- mators, sales, superintendents, crew lead- ers, office personnel and sub-contractors. This makes us a true turnkey contractor and unique because these services will keep your cost to a minimum and allow us to meet our deadlines. CRSD: What is your main line of busi- ness? CP: Building convenience stores, petro- leum installs, concrete and site work with utilities. D.R. Mozeley's niche is build- ing gas stations, but we also are commer- cial GCs. CRSD: What would you say makes your company unique? CP: Our tenured and skilled staff that can deliver a high quality project in a very short time. Because of our 55-plus years of building C-stores, we have positioned ourselves to self-perform the design all the way through check-out and start-up. CRSD: What was the most significant event or series of events affect- ing your company in the past year? CP: The most significant series of events in the past year is the hard work and dedication our employees have put into proj- ects D.R. Mozeley has completed. We have the best staff we have had in 55 years of business. We have built special relationships with major clients all paid off by teamwork. CRSD: What do you anticipate to be your greatest challenge in the year ahead? CP: The rising cost of fuel and expanding D.R. Mozeley's reach in the Southeast with the current market conditions. With more companies competing for the same work than ever, we must stay competitive and maintain our dedication to the cus- tomer and quality on our projects. CRSD: Tell our readers about your trade show objectives, plans, products, promo- tions, etc. CP: We are giving away a sail fishing trip out of Fort Pierce, Fla. Our main objective is to meet new customers, introduce ourselves and hopefully get an opportunity to participate in their upcoming projects. Our goal at the trade show is to get our name out to more people who aren't aware of us. CRSD: How do you see the next year in terms of economy, sales, technology, and product evolution? CP: I see our economy improving every year, the market is starting to pick up increasing job source and housing. CRSD: To what do you attribute your company's success? CP: Loyal customers, hard work, dedica- tion and the quality and timeliness of our projects. Our continued success comes from the relationships we build with our clients by delivering a quality product on time and on budget. The extra protein and rich taste is appealing to peo- ple all over the world. If you're reading this, you're probably familiar with our snack bars made of fruit, almonds, authentic Greek yogurt and granola. They were our first Greek yogurt dipped snacks − the products that launched our brand − and we're thrilled that so many consumers fell in love with their health- fulness, convenience, and, of course, deliciousness. But the story doesn't stop there, because at Rickland Orchards we're always innovating. It's what drove us to create the secret recipe for the Greek yogurt coating on our granola bars. And now, it has driven us to create a whole new class of snacks. The new product line is an extension to the original Greek Yogurt bar line, offering another easy way to enjoy the great taste of Greek yogurt. So say hello to our Greek yogurt bite-sized snacks. They're little balls of Greek yogurt-coated goodness that can be eaten any- where, anytime. These bite-sized snacks have iron, calcium, and good sources of fiber and protein too! We like to call them Greek on the Go™. We're currently offering a handful of granola bite flavors: Mango, Mixed Berry Acai, Strawberry, Super Fruit, Passion Fruit and more. But, we didn't stop at granola centers – we have pret- zels and almonds too – plus one deli- cious twist: a dark chocolate Greek yogurt coating. More fla- vors are soon to come, so stay tuned. Also watch for other new Greek yogurt dipped snacks. Our chefs have been working hard to perfect fresh recipes and other new product launch ideas. Until then, enjoy the bites and bars, and if you have an idea for a tasty Greek yogurt- coated snack, please share it! Check us out at www.facebook.com/ricklandor- chards or on Twitter @greekonthego.
