We will be showcasing our new, sleek and stylish series of compact, portable power packs aptly named The Lifesaver and Lifesaver II (design patented). We will also take this great opportunity to introduce The WD (Cont'd. from p. 1) consumer electronics groups. "Everyone is inundated with thousands of digital files scattered across multiple computers and mobile devices, and controlling that chaos is a challenge. WD's personal cloud is the easiest, most secure and most affordable way for customers to control that chaos, with access to all of their files anywhere, anytime." Rapid content and device growth requires a new storage paradigm, one that gives users complete control over their digital lives. This is an especially exciting time for our company, as we now look forward to further broadening our consumer audience by significantly expanding our product offerings in 2014. CEDN: What makes Whistler unique? JH: Many things, but one of the most important is dedication to our cus- brilliant, vivid video display and premium audio experience in a unique flip-down form factor. Prototypes of the Glyph Beta are currently assembled and tested and will be featured at C o n su m e r Ele c tro n ic D a ily N e ws the International CES in Las Vegas. Consumer units will be available by Kickstarter on January 22 and will ship later in the year. Key to the innovative nature of Glyph is its optical engine, called a Virtual Retinal Display. Using a low powered LED, a series of custom optics and a micromirror array, the visuals produced by the headset are crisper and brighter than those from conventional display technologies. "We've created a premium media experience that people can use with music, movies and games on any device they already own, including their smart phone. Integrating high-end audio with the Glyph and packaging it into a forward-thinking design is critical to a great experience "said Allan Evans, CTO of Avegant. Media and public interested in demoing the Glyph at CES can register their interest at avegant.com/ces. A Kickstarter campaign around Glyph will commence on January 22, 2014. RS: This is our first time exhibiting at CES. Our key objectives are to introduce Everik to potential U.S. customers and secure quality contacts in the retail sector. We hope to partner with a well-connected manufactures rep firm and initiate discussions for distribution throughout the U.S. Secondly, our unique products fit very well with customer loyalty reward programs and company employee recognition programs. We need to explore these opportunities and again initiate contacts in these specialized businesses. Finally, we are looking to expand into international markets. RS: Our main focus at this show is the Lifesaver series of portable power packs specifically The Lifesaver II. What makes The Lifesaver II stand out from other power packs in the market? Its sleek and lightweight patented design. Most power packs in its class are bulky and industrial looking. The Lifesaver II can charge most smartphones in less than one hour and easily fit into one's pocket or handbag. The Lifesaver series of products feature top quality Li-ion/Li-polymer cells ensuring fast charging, reliability and portability. Our Lifesaver series will charge various micro-USB powered devices, including tablets, smartphones and ereaders.
