Chain Drugstore Daily 4 3 Monday, August 27, 2018 Two Old Goats Ease Pain Naturally with Essential Oils, Goat's Milk Two Old Goats, LLC (TOG) located in Haltom City, Texas was founded 10 years ago. The company manufactures and dis- tributes herbal-sourced essential oil lotion, balm, soap, body wash and bath salts. Essential oils contain ingredients identical to those used in pain relief for- mulas. TOG's products are produced with the natural ingredients that provide the same relief available as over the counter products and other non-prescrip- tion analgesics. The company has a rat- ing of 4.6-4.7 and more than 100 pages of Amazon-verified customer reviews. It all began with Karen Pharr, a pro- fessional quilter, who suffered from dry, chapped and tired hands. After trying several lotions which contained worrisome ingredients or per- fumes which further irritated her skin, she created Two Old Goats lotion. Using a highly effective formula that included a surprise ingredient – goat's milk – along with six pure, natural, therapeutic-grade essential oils: lavender, chamomile, eucalyptus, rosemary, peppermint and birch bark, Pharr at last found relief. Pharr's friends, family, neighbors and fellow quilters loved her new lotion both for its silky texture and for its easing of tired, sore muscles. Pharr sold the business to friends Richard and Karen Snyder in 2008. Since then, the Snyders have established a national distribution net- work for the products all while maintain- ing the high quality and effectiveness of the original lotion. Current Chief Executive Officer/Chief Operating Officer and Owner, Karen Snyder, noted that this year at the show she wanted to expand their customer base and extend the avail- ability of TOG's healthy and helpful products. She added that the company was launching bath salts, and targeting individuals with joint or muscular overuse conditions. TOG's demo- graphic is often the older, 50-plus, blue-collar work- ers, but all ages will benefit from these products. Bayshore Pharmaceuticals – Experienced and Professional Project Management Since its inception in 2011, Bayshore (Short Hills, New Jersey) has focused on its Project Management capabilities and its ability to effectively and competitive- ly bring its products from concept to commercialization. Bayshore's manage- ment team has close to 75 years of collec- tive experience in the U.S. generic drug industry, covering functional areas rang- ing from API/FDF Sales & Sourcing to Regulatory Compliance and Manufacturing. Its extensive global net- work of business associates and partners includes a local Bayshore office in Hyderabad, India, a global hub of the pharmaceutical industry. Bayshore's product portfolio (which includes both Bayshore owned ANDAs as well as third party, partner-owned ANDAs) is comprised of off-patent generic drugs and targets those products wherein an API challenge exists. It is an expert in the field of API sourcing and procurement and considers API the key component in the generic drug supply chain. With its background in this area, Bayshore continually monitors the API landscape and can anticipate potential issues long before they become reality. This knowledge sets Bayshore apart from many other sales and marketing organizations and allows it to assist cus- tomers in preparing for any potential market disruption. Additionally, it under- stands the need to be responsible part- ners, which occasionally means having to forego near term business opportunities for long term sustainability. Bayshore is especially proud to be the exclusive sales and marketing partner of Beximco Pharmaceuticals, the first FDA-approved pharmaceutical manufac- turing company in Bangladesh. Under Bayshore's label, the commercialized products include Carvedilol, Sotalol, Methocarbamol and Metformin ER. B a y s h o r e ' s commitment to transparency, relia- bility, compliance and competitiveness remains the key to its success. Building trust and confidence with both its fin- ished dose customers and manufacturing partners is the company's first priority. Its goal is to exceed expectations and continue to grow its product portfolio for the benefit of its customers, and ultimate- ly, the consumers of its prescription drugs. XLERATOR Hand Dryers Help Brooklyn Bowl Achieve LEED Certification Brooklyn Bowl is the epitome of trendy. With some of the coolest international acts playing the main stage, and thou- sands of people filling the world-famous bowling alley, restaurant and night club, it is one of the hippest entertainment attractions in New York City. Most recently though, this hot spot has become as renowned for its sustainability initia- tives as it is for its chill Brooklyn vibe. Located in the refurbished Hecla Iron Works Building, Brooklyn Bowl was cre- ated with sustainability in mind. Its stage floor is constructed of recycled truck tires, the lounge floors with reclaimed cork floors, and the LED stage lights use 90 percent less energy than typical lights. The facility has its power derived by wind energy, uses special fans to augment the HVAC system and employs a unique pin- spotter system (which uses pins on strings) for greater energy efficiency. It even goes so far as to only serve beer on tap that is brewed locally right in Brooklyn, reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions. These sustainability efforts continue into the restroom, making XLERATOR ® Hand Dryers a perfect fit for the facility's aesthetic and its goal of reducing its carbon footprint. All of these initiatives combined to make Brooklyn Bowl the first bowling alley in the world to obtain LEED ® certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. With its iconic décor, Brooklyn Bowl also wanted its restrooms to look as chic as the rest of the facility, and aesthet- ically, XLERATOR fit the bill. In addi- tion to its sleek, s o p h i s t i c a t e d appearance, as well as the avail- ability of custom covers, XLERA- TOR keeps the restrooms clean- er and more hygienic because there are no paper towels littering the floor, clogging toilets and overflowing trash bins. High-speed, energy-efficient XLER- ATOR Hand Dryers dry hands fast; com- pared to conventional hand dryers, they use 80 percent less energy. According to a peer reviewed Life Cycle Assessment, in accordance with ISO 14040 standards, XLERATOR effectively reduces carbon emissions by up to 75 percent compared to conventional hand dryers and 100-per- cent recycled paper towels. These num- bers add up to a significant difference for a facility hosting 2,000- 3,000 visitors every day. Not only did XLERA- TOR help Brooklyn Bowl maintain its status as one of the coolest bowling alleys around – it helped it become the greenest, too. UL Environment (a business division of Underwriters' Laboratories) substantiat- ed Excel Dryer's sustainability claims with the publication of three Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for each of the manufacturer's three high-speed, energy-efficient hand dryers, the first such certification in the industry. Like Brooklyn Bowl, Excel Dryer is a thought leader on environmen- tal sustainability, leading the industry by example. For more information, go to www.exceldryer.com.
