This means ATM process- ing needs to be one of your top priorities and your ATMs need to be rock-solid reliable with peak authorization rates. At 40,000 transactions a month at $200 each, a casino can have $8 million in cash dispensed per month. Imagine having a two to five percent higher approval rate for your guests. That is an additional $18-45 mil- lion a year to the floor! Outbound Alternate Routing To further reduce unwanted declines, U.S. Bank ensures that requests for authorization safely reach the ATM net- works for approval. U.S. Bank has built multiple routing alternatives from its host processor to each of the ATM networks, such as Plus ® , Cirrus ® , Visa ® and MasterCard ® , to name a few. If a link to one of the networks fails, another link to that same network immediately picks up the traffic dynamically.
