Chain Drugstore Daily Sunday, April 23, 2017 4 CURAD: NOT JUST FIRST AID ANYMORE The CURAD ® brand has been known for quality first aid since the 1950s. Today, the company continues to expand its selection of innovative medical solutions to help consumers feel and heal their best. Building on its rugged line of Performance Series bandages, the brand now offers a full line of Performance Series orthopedic supports, wraps and tapes. These products are designed and built to "turn setbacks into comebacks" with extraordinary durability and com- fort. Simple hook & loop fasteners pro- vide easy-to-use, customizable support to help support injuries – or prevent them. For work or play, Performance Series supports the most active people on the field, in the gym and on the job. This new line also reflects a new, redesigned CURAD branding initiative for greater impact at shelf. Even the shield-shaped CURAD logo has been redesigned to enhance the image of lead- ership, strength and protection. Bold packaging specifically for Performance Series products helps identify them as premium products at a glance. In addition to clear usage, feature and bene- fit information, each package aids the con- sumer with a clearly marked "support level" – Fixed, Firm and Flex. Fixed: Greater rigidity to help keep joints aligned with maximum support; superior padding for comfort; reinforced stress points for durability; most feature Microban™ antimicrobial protection. Firm: Medium support with soft, cush- ioned bracing for added comfort and CAMBER'S VERTICAL INTEGRATION AND EXPANSION IS KEY TO STRONG SUPPLY CHAIN Camber Pharmaceuticals parent compa- ny, Hetero Drugs of Hyderabad, India, is investing heavily in R&D and infrastruc- ture to keep pace with the expanding generics marketplace.
