World Tea Expo & Healthy Beverage Expo
Welcome Two Leading Event Talents to Its Team
Joining a leading-edge team of conference man-
agers and tea and healthy beverage authorities,
Samantha Hammer-Mitchell is the new Event Direc-
tor and Brooke Mathewson the new Senior Manager
for Operations of World Tea Expo and Healthy Bev-
erage Expo.
As a career professional in event management,
Hammer-Mitchell brings 20 years of experience
producing global tradeshows and conferences
with a commitment to creating business- and
community-enhancing opportunities. "I'm excited
to be a part of the tea and healthy beverage indus-
tries, working with a strong, established event
management group and advisory board members
– leaders from these industries," said Hammer-
Mitchell. "My focus is to build upon the group's
mission to create value and increase commerce
for the thousands of international attendees, spon-
sors and exhibitors of the co-located expos. I look
forward to supporting the members of our com-

Sartori Master Cheesemaker, Mike
Matucheski, Crowned Grand Master
Cheese Maker at Wisconsin State Fair
Sartori Master Cheesemaker, Mike Matucheski, was
crowned Grand Master Cheese Maker at the 2014
Wisconsin State Fair Cheese & Butter Auction with Sar-
tori Reserve Chai BellaVitano
®
being recognized as the
Grand Champion cheese. This is Sartori's third year in
a row receiving top honors at the competition, includ-
ing a 2013 Grand Champion for Sartori Classic Asiago
and a 2012 Grand Champion for Sartori Limited Edition
Pastorale Blend
®
.
Since 2009, Matucheski has received Grand Master
recognition four times. "Mike's a true artist and
cheesemaking is his passion," said Pat Mugan, Sartori
Vice President of Research and Development. "He's
well versed in different flavors and how they'll impact
a piece of cheese when added to the rind."
Prior to Matucheski becoming a cheesemaker, he
was a self-employed farmer, specializing in organic
herbs, hops and vegetables. "Cheesemaking takes a
lot of practice and skill. You've got to have that knack
for both the science part and the art. Having a back-
ground in herbs and beer has really expanded my cre-
ativity to craft new and unique cheeses for Sartori,"
said Matucheski.
Since 1995, Matucheski has been making cheese
in Antigo, Wisconsin, and in 2011 he received his Mas-
ter Cheesemaker certification in the production of Asi-
ago and parmesan. He is currently studying for a
second certification in Fontina and Romano. As a result
of his continued fascination with all things cheese,
Mike has won various awards at Wisconsin, U.S. and
international cheese contests.

Managing Director of Emmi Roth USA

Managing Director. Omer brings more than 25 years
of specialty cheese industry experience to his new

puto in 2011.
In announcing the appointment of Omer, Matthias
Kunz, Chairman of the Board of Emmi Roth USA, said,
"As a true insider to domestic and imported specialty
cheeses, Tim brings a deep and thorough knowledge
that will be instrumental in helping our company con-
tinue to grow. We view this appointment as a sign of
our commitment to being one of the leading compa-
nies in our industry."
As President and Managing Director, Omer will help
underpin Emmi Roth USA's position as an artisanal-
centered, cheese-driven organization. "I am excited to

companies in the world, and I am fortunate to have the
opportunity to lead a group of passionate team mem-
bers that are committed to the highest quality products
and service," said Omer.

nications from the University of Wisconsin-Steven's
Point and MBA from the University of Wisconsin-
