DANSKO TO PARTNER WITH CHEFS BRIAN MALARKEY AND STEPHANIE IZARD AT NRA CONVENTION Dansko announced it will partner with celebrity chefs, Brian Malarkey and Stephanie Izard, at this year's NRA Show. Stop by the Dansko booth 6839 on Monday, May 20, to meet Brian and Stephanie. Both will be on hand to share their love of Dansko shoes and the importance of proper footwear in the kitchen, along with tips and techniques for all things cooking. Brian Malarkey, who includes his black patent Dansko Professionals as part of his signature style, was most recently a judge and mentor of the winning team on the new hit ABC show, "The Taste". In addition to coaching the winning team, Brian is executive chef and partner of Searsucker restaurant in the heart of San Diego's bustling Gaslamp District. Here, Brian showcases his talents and high energy in the restaurant's exhibition kitchen. In addition to Searsucker, Brian's ever-expanding food empire includes six restaurants and a catering and events company throughout the western United States. Brian's award- winning technique and high energy style have earned him the highest accolades among fellow chefs and foodies. In case you can't tell from the names of his restaurant, Brian has a flare for fashion, fabric, footwear and of course food. Stephanie Izard is well known nationally as being the first female winner of "Top Chef", a Food & Wine Best New Chef and for her award-win- ning Chicago restaurant, Girl & the Goat. Stephanie opened her second Chicago restaurant, a diner called Little Goat, across the street from Girl & the Goat in Chicago's West Loop area in December 2012. Little Goat encompasses a diner, artisan bread and coffee shop, bar, and classroom and private events area (called Little Goat Kitchen). Stephanie's cookbook, Girl in the Kitchen was published in 2011 and expands her talents to writing. Stephanie also has a newly launched product line called "The Flavor, By Stephanie Izard," consisting of sauces and rubs. She stays on her feet and keeps us on our toes, so stay tuned for more from this talented and well- heeled chef. Both Brian and Stephanie can attest to the fact that they spend a great deal of time on their feet, in the kitchen or on tour, and how having comfortable, sup- portive footwear is one of the secrets of their success.
