We can then utilize our global network of design, engineer- ing and manufacturing to move design ideas quickly into production. By linking our technical centers in the U.S. and Taiwan, we make it easy for Premier Mounts to match the right expertise to our customers requirements. Quality products and services, compre- hensive product lines, worldwide design, engineering and manufacturing means our customers can depend on Premier Mounts as a one-source supplier. We're experts in the space between the device and the structure, partnering with our clients to provide the most ideal mount- ing solution and ensuring total project success by engaging our experts in the entire process from concept to installa- tion and beyond. Our commitment to customer suc- cess sets us apart, and because of this, we see our projects delivered on time with installation pitfalls avoided and total client support even after the project is complete. We're organized around meet- ing our customer's needs, and we have the capacity to provide solutions from readily available stock options to full custom manufactured solutions, and we can do it worldwide from either our 65,000 square foot manufacturing facili- ty located in Fullerton, Calif. or our 175,000 square foot manufacturing facil- ity in the Republic of Taiwan. ESD: What is your current product emphasis? RP: Our product emphasis remains con- Premier Mounts ( Cont'd. from p. 1) stant: solve a problem, improve efficien- cies and add benefits. Delivering real value is a must, and our focus will be on doing that through innovative products and innovative processes that drive cus- tomer success. As long as we can do that, we will fulfill our purpose in connecting technology and systems integration. ESD: What distinguishes your products from the competition? RP: There's a misconception that all mounts are created equal, but that's only until something goes wrong. A low- quality product can cause installations to take twice as long as estimated, fail to meet the needs of the end-user or put the safety of others at risk. Our products are made in a fully integrated manufactur- ing facility, enabling us to control the quality and reliability of our mounts from concept to production. Premier Mounts' products are engineered and manufactured with an eye on ROI and ROO. We understand that profits decrease as install time increases, we understand that safety is paramount, and we understand that the device installed must be used to its full potential. This is why we test each product in our state-of- the-art testing laboratory to ensure that safety, ease of installation and reliability are designed into every product. We also offer world-class technical support and project management three and a half decades in the making, because we make it our business to ensure that you have no question unanswered and no issue unresolved, and that's why our products set us apart. By acquir- ing, managing and instructing students and staff on how to use these new elec- tronic materials, librarians can once again return the academic focus of schools to the library, and align with classrooms to improve and expand learning possibilities for students. Mackin's Funds4Books & eBooks, an innovative online donation pro- gram, is an easy and fun way for librar- ians to raise money to purchase eBooks and databases. With Funds4Books & eBooks, librarians receive 100 percent of all funds raised to spend on anything from Mackin. Whether building a new eBook collec- tion or expanding the library's current digital offerings, this unique fundrais- ing program gives librarians the ability to strengthen their libraries and pro- vide students with the materials they need to succeed in today's world of digital learning. Within the Funds4Books & eBooks department at Mackin, the company works with librarians to pre- pare for and manage these campaigns. Together, they create and tailor promo- tional materials to advertise the fundraiser, design a custom webpage Mackin ( Cont'd. from p. 1) where individual and corporate donors can contribute to the campaign, and plan how the funds will be used to ben- efit the library. Mackin then cus- tomizes the campaign with any goal you have in mind, such as acquiring popular fiction eBooks for students, purchasing multi-user nonfiction eBooks for classrooms, adding audio- books to the mix or getting more data- bases to facilitate student research. Funds4Books & eBooks is also a great way to raise money to update or add new print books to your collection – all delivered, shelf-ready, for free. Whatever your objective, a qualified representative at Mackin is always available to help with ideas, suggestions or contributions whenever needed. To date, nearly 600 schools have already participated in Mackin's Funds4Books & eBooks, with hun- dreds of thousands of dollars raised and returned to libraries to spend on the materials they need. If you are interested in running a Funds4Books & eBooks campaign, or would like more information, call 800-245-9540 or email info@funds4books.com. Visit Mackin at booth 311. Twelve years later I am still with CPSI, which is a rare feat in the software industry. CPSI is a family owned company in the heart of the Midwest with that Midwest integrity and brutal honesty. The Visual CASEL product we deployed so many years ago still thrives, but it needed a big overhaul. I would sit in my booth at FETC and hear things from technology coordinators like, "I'm over 40 and I can't read your screens." Now the old Visual CASEL has a new life and a new name. Totally rewrit- ten, xdAD is web-based, and has new fea- tures that originated right here in Florida, such as the ability to work with a federat- ed state-level single sign-on model. Many districts are moving away from managing CPSI ( Cont'd. from p. 1) home directories on local file servers to cloud-based solutions like Google Apps for Education or Microsoft Office 365 for Education. We also added a self-healing feature that checks AD accounts, and val- idates that they are at the right school, with the appropriate permissions and given access to the right servers. Network admins can review reports to see if there is a breakdown in the validation process. We also left the rigid directory structure behind so you can build AD the way you want it. Another new feature is the ability to manage users with multiple location assignments based on rules that you can set up with our tech support staff. No need for extra programming; any AD attribute you want to modify can be done on the fly. For more information, go to www.cpsiltd.com, call 800-659-8240 or email sales@cpsiltd.com.
