CM: Tell our readers about Duro Corporation. SH: We are an American company from City of Industry, California, dedicated to delivering the finest quality professional style cooking appliances. SH: Even though we are an American company, our parts, such as our German burners, are sourced from all over the world and assembled in China in our own factories, and we have our own service center in California, making us a truly global com- pany. CM: Is Forever Barnwood prefinished? JB: Just like other Forever Barnwood products, the millwork is 'aged' using the same proprietary processes. Remember, there is no stain used to produce Forever Barnwood products. This is a 'living finish,' so you can cut it, sand it and reapply Secret Sauce to blend and cover to create a beautiful finished product. CM: Can a clear protective coat be put on my Forever Barnwood millwork? JB: Yes, the Forever Barnwood 'aging process' allows the subsequent applica- tion of an oil or water-based protective coating. The Forever Barnwood 'aging process' does leave a resin in and on the wood, which does provide a not so insignificant protective attribute. CM: Is this millwork any different than millwork that users are used to working with? JB: No. You will find the sizes and pro- files of Forever Barnwood millwork and doors to be consistent with industry stan- dards. This product is as easy to work with as any millwork product that you have ever worked with. CM: Do the Forever Barnwood Rustic Doors come with hard- ware? JB: The doors do come with hinges (3-1/2" 5/8" radius hinges). The hinges are mortised into the slab and door jamb. They come in two colors (Satin Nickel and Oil Rubbed Bronze). The double doors also come with ball & catch hardware in the same colors. Forever Barnwood does not offer a handset line at this time. CM: How will doors come to the job site? JB: Your doors will come KD. That means that the jambs will be broken down and ready to assemble. Doors can also be purchased as a slab only. You can mix the rustic Forever Barnwood door with other types/color of millwork. These doors in the Traditional 100-Year- Old finish matched with white jambs and casing is breathtaking. CM: What door styles are available? JB: The doors are available in any style, meaning that over the backdrop of verti- cal panels, any overlay design can be applied.
