Award-Winning Cheeses from Klondike Cheese Company Klondike Cheese Company's new Buholzer Brothers™ brand is crafted by six Wisconsin master cheesemakers and dedicated staff and includes four flavor- ful varieties of Muenster, Brick, Havarti and Dill Havarti. Brick cheese has a deliciously com- plex, earthy flavor with a touch of nutti- ness when young, but turns pungent and tangy when aged. Try Brick cheese on a Detroit-style pizza or slice to top a juicy hamburger. Buholzer Brick comes in 6- pound loaves and 8-ounce chunks. Also soon to be available in retail and foodser- vice slices. Muenster is an orange rind cheese that is semi-firm with a creamy texture that gets even creamier with age. Perfect for grilled cheese, scrambled eggs or pizza. Buholzer Brothers Muenster comes in 6-pound loaves, 15-pound long john, a retail and foodservice slice pack. Havarti is a great melting cheese with its creamy, rich buttery flavor. Slice for grilled cheese, cube on salads or serve on a charcuterie platter. Buholzer Brothers Havarti comes in 4.5-pound and 9-pound loaves as well as 15-pound long johns. Dill Havarti is available in 4.5- pound and 9-pound loaves. Both will also be available in retail slice packs. The plain Havarti will be in foodservice slices. Klondike Cheese Co. is a fourth generation cheesemaking family, crafting award-winning cheeses in the same location in Monroe, Wisconsin since the late 1800s. 2018 best of class awards received include first place for Brick, second place for Muenster and third place for Havarti at the World Championship Cheese Contest and first place for Dill Havarti at the Wisconsin State Fair. The secret to Klondike's exceptional quality is the combination of using state- of-the art equipment, its proprietary recipes and time-honored traditions of cheesemaking. The recent 50,000 square foot plant expansion at Klondike Cheese Co. shows its commitment to providing high quality, authentic and consistently flavorful products. Garden Fresh Gourmet Uses Freshest Ingredients for Delicious Products Garden Fresh Gourmet, headquartered in Ferndale, Michigan, was founded in 1997. Jack and Annette Aronson started making salsa in a five-gallon bucket in the kitchen of their hometown barbecue joint in Ferndale, Michigan. Their idea was simple: make products so good, peo- ple won't be able to stop eating them. As the name indicates, Garden Fresh Gourmet uses only the freshest all-natur- al ingredients in its products, which are paired with culinary-inspired recipes. The company excels in delivering gour- met-tasting products every time. As a cat- egory leader in refrigerated salsa, it used this success to grow the Garden Fresh Gourmet brand into more categories. The company's mission is to gather the world's finest ingredients, craft them into delicious, high-quality products and offer them at a reasonable price. Trisha Miller, Vice President Central and National Accounts, noted that the company's goal for the show is to expand business in both branded and private label products. The company is especially proud of the quality of its products, as it uses the freshest ingredi- ents available to deliv- er a delicious product each time. Miller added that the company is launching a number of new products at the show. These are: new topped organic hummus; new "other beans" hummus such as black bean, white bean, lentil, edamame, etc.; sweet hummus; and sal- ads. Garden Fresh is interested in deli and produce buyers who are looking to optimize sales in their dips and spreads cate- gory. The company uses a high-pressure pasteuriza- tion process when produc- ing salsa, which gives cus- tomers an extended shelf life while reducing spoils. It also has a state-of-the-art manufacturing process that enables the company to make dips without the use of preservatives or HPP, giving the product up to 80 days shelf life. SuperSorb CarbonPad and Supersorb F-23LV from Filtercorp Filtercorp's patented SuperSorb ® CarbonPad has been proven to perform in top foodservice operations, consistently out-performing other types of frying oil filtration media. The SuperSorb CarbonPad extends the useful life of frying oil by trapping damaging particles 500 times smaller than a grain of sand. Among the benefits are less oil usage, less oil change outs, cleaner oil, greater savings and more consistent food quality. Food products cooked in clean oil cook faster, absorb less oil and have a crisper texture. Simply drop a SuperSorb CarbonPad into your fryer filter and start enjoying the benefits of cleaner oil. In 2018, Filtercorp introduced its newest patented technology: the SuperSorb F-23LV. It is the high-volume filter for your low-volume fryer. Filtercorp's new fry oil filter is the next- generation of its SuperSorb CarbonPad. The Supersorb F-23LV has a pleated pre- filter stitched on top to collect the larger food debris. This technology enables the filter to be even more efficient, resulting in a two filters-in-one system that has all the advantages of the SuperSorb CarbonPad.
