Hardware & Housewares Review Tuesday, May 8, 2018 1 4 2018 Best of Show Bradshaw International and Butler Home Products Become Bradshaw Home Previously operating as Bradshaw International and Butler Home Products, both companies have announced they are unifying as Bradshaw Home as of March 2018. The move brings the assets and industry knowledge of both companies, leaders in the kitchenware and cleaning categories respectively, together under one fully integrated business. Company co-Presidents Brett Bradshaw and Rob Michelson will continue to head the new enterprise, marking a major milestone in the history of both companies. Bradshaw purchased Butler Home Products in 2003, but both businesses have run independently for the past 15 years. Bradshaw International has grown to lead the kitchenware industry, while Butler has done the same in clean- ing. In mid-2017, it was announced that Michelson and Bradshaw would become co-presidents of parent com- pany Bradshaw Holdings. The for- mation of Bradshaw Home is the next phase for the housewares lead- ers. "This structure clearly puts us in a great strategic position to expand for the future. It will allow us to use our considerable assets and experi- ence in both kitchenware and clean- ing to build on our already strong market positions," says Brett Bradshaw. "We have long been known for our service oriented phi- losophy – operationally, this stream- lining will benefit the way we do business and make us as efficient as we can be." Rob Michelson adds, "Bringing the companies together allows us to maxi- mize scale in the departments that sup- port our ever-changing customer needs, and keep independent the departments that rely heavily on category specific experience and expertise." Michelson went on to say, "It is important for us to note that our warehouse footprint will stay exactly the same and we will con- tinue to deliver best in class service to our retail partners." Bradshaw Home will maintain its family-owned business style, as Michelson and Bradshaw – both suc- cessors to their respective family busi- nesses, lead the charge for this new organization. This restructure positions the company for future success, as it continues to grow by building on its strong heritage and assets – its valued customers and great people. KAF Home Expands into New Product and Branding Opportunities KAF Home, a market leader in premier home textiles, is expanding its product and brand coverage to increase appeal among retailers and consumers alike. These new product launches and licensing agreements will help expand the company's presence in several key markets and address an expanding por- tion of the population through large retailers, boutiques and online sales. Earlier this year, KAF Home launched two key product categories that will offer a compelling value proposition to both retailers as well as end consumers: TAILOR, the company's new apron line, addresses an attractive and burgeoning market segment for premi- um aprons. TAILOR aprons are designed in California with select fab- rics and impressive hardware, but at a fraction of the wholesale and $80 MSRP of similar products. KAF is offering retailers the chance to approach this market at price-points from $24.95 to $34.95. Similarly, KAF is expanding into decorative pillows to provide excep- tional value at a competitive price. The company is coupling its domestic design expertise with global produc- tion capabilities to provide superior dec pillows to the value conscious con- sumer. Initial offerings boast luxurious fabrics and trim, feather and down blend inserts, and c o m p e t i t i v e retails. KAF Home is also partner- ing with several w e l l - k n o w n c o n s u m e r brands to deliver compelling products with unique insights and design. The company has partnered with Christopher Kimball and his Milk Street brand, to launch a line of high quality kitchen and home textiles that feature Christopher Kimball's knack for combining simplicity with func- tion, in a way that feels familiar and comfortable. Additionally, KAF Home is introducing a line of home and table- top textiles under the iconic Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation brand, modernizing some of Wright's quintessential design to sit perfectly in today's home. President and Chief Executive Officer, Amin Mysorewala, believes these opportuni- ties will further bolster the company's strength in the home textile market, noting, "We have already received strong and positive feedback from the market regarding these launches, and expect this trend to continue as we build momentum in 2018."
