Kitchenware News & Housewares Review Show Daily 7 5 Tuesday, March 13, 2018 Introducing the Revolutionary Omni Collection By Karina Patricio, Director of Media and Marketing, Timolino Timolino has been a leading competitor in the drinkware brand industry since the company was created in 1997. Since then, we have been dedicated to creating high-quality products made specifically with the consumer in mind. We have cemented our place in the industry by producing innovative designs year after year. What sets us apart from other brands is that we manufacture our own product in our award-winning factory based in Jiangsu. From the design process to the end result, we are there to make sure that each and every product meets your high standards. In 2017, Timolino celebrated our 20th anniversary by launching a new line, the Omni Collection, made to revo- lutionize the industry with its various functions and features. The new line fea- tures a variety of mugs and tumblers with interchangeable lids, along with the Cruiseline – a new all-in-one tumbler. The Omni Collection marks the start of a new direction for the company and for the drinkware industry. Omni began in 2015 with the idea for creating the perfect travel mug. Most brands in the market were offering a lim- ited selection of products that didn't cover different types of uses and had lids and accessories that were not inter- changeable. There also weren't any options for consumers who liked carbon- ated drinks. With all this in mind, our designer Michael Rechsteiner started working on Omni. Our idea was to design a product that would be versatile, unique and convenient so that consumers could purchase one bottle with multiple accessories and functions. The new Omni Collection plays with different materials, some new to Timolino. In addition to the standard 18/8 stainless steel, new items will also be available in Eastman Tritan, borosilicate glass and LDPE plastic. Our 18/8 stain- less steel is the highest grade available for drinkware and it doesn't leach harm- ful chemicals into drinks. Eastman Tritan is a new plastic substitute that is BPA- free, durable and safer for the environ- ment than regular plastic. For consumers that look for a pure taste, borosilicate glass offers more durability than regular glass. LDPE is a thermoplastic used for making squeezable sports bottles. All of these materials are food-safe, BPA-free and completely recyclable. With Omni, Timolino decided to make a product geared towards all differ- ent types of users while still maintaining the functions that made us a reliable and trusted brand. One of these functions is the simplicity for thorough cleaning. All of the lids and accessories from Timolino and the new Omni Collection can be taken apart for deep cleaning. The gas- kets are easily removable, which help prevent mold and bacteria from forming in the lids. For prolonging the health of your coffee and tea accessories, we have also partnered up with Mandala Tea to offer its Smart Soak solution on our website. This solution is perfect for getting rid of any tough coffee or tea stains that happen over time. Totally Bamboo Introduces Innovative New Composite Cutting Board Solution Totally Bamboo has long led the way in innovative bamboo solutions for the kitchen. After introducing the world to the bamboo cutting board 18 years ago, the company also launched the first end grain parquet bamboo cutting board and the first three-ply dishwasher-safe bam- boo cutting board. This history of innovation will see its latest iteration with the launch of the Totally Bamboo Eco-Culinaire™ line. This exciting new line is made with Totally Bamboo's proprietary PhylloTech™ composite material: com- bining organic, sustainable bamboo with food-safe poly. The resulting material creates a cutting board that is light- weight, incredibly durable and environ- mentally friendly. "We wanted to create a cutting board that combined the eco-friendly nature and outstanding knife-feel of bamboo with the rugged durability and high tem- perature resistance of poly," said Kyle Erickson, Director of Marketing at Totally Bamboo. "Our PhylloTech com- posite succeeded in doing just that! We're proud to say that our new Eco- Culinaire line is just the latest example of how we're 'First in Bamboo.'" The Eco-Culinaire line is launching with eight total products: three "Santa Barbara" series cutting boards, three "Montecito" series cutting boards, a col- orful 4-mat set and a combo pack bamboo board and mat. As the name sug- gests, the Eco-Culinaire line is designed with the environment in mind. Totally Bamboo sources Moso bamboo as the species for all of its products. This bamboo species grows incredibly fast, is not a part of the diet of pandas and has an environmentally-gen- tler cultivation method. The PhylloTech composite material used in the Eco- Culinaire line combines Moso bamboo with food-safe poly for a material that is BPA and phthalate free. The board is also recyclable. Ease of use and cleanup are also major benefits of Eco-Culinaire. The durability of PhylloTech allows the cut- ting boards to be slim yet tough. This thin profile is ideal for easy cleaning in the dish- washer as it can with- stand repeated, high- temperature washings in either rack while occupying little space. The bamboo fiber incorporated into PhylloTech also pro- vides an extremely satisfying knife-feel with a quiet cut that's easy on cutlery edges. Totally Bamboo is showcasing the new Eco-Culinaire line along with all of its artistically-inspired bamboo culinary products at the show in booth #S2157. Visit Totally Bamboo in booth #S2157.
