Oser Founder Kitchenware News & Housewares Review Show Daily Monday, March 12, 2018 4 Chef's Planet Commercial Announces EnduraFilm Nonstick Film Lamination Technology Chef's Planet, a kitchenware company based in La Verne, California, that has offered kitchen gadgets for the retail mar- ket since 2002, has launched a commer- cial product line. Chef 's Planet Commercial will serve the needs of industrial foodservice operations with a variety of durable, nonstick products that enhance kitchen efficiencies. At the 2018 International Home & Housewares Show in Chicago, Chef's Planet is introducing cookware and bake- ware manufactured with a patented non- stick film technology called EnduraFilm™. Traditional nonstick spray coatings provide an uneven surface that is prone to the development of micro-pinholes. When micro-pinholes occur in a coated cooking surface, residue from food, oil and cleaning agents can enter the pinholes which deteriorates the coated layer and reduces nonstick properties over time. EnduraFilm is a PTFE film laminat- ed to the metal pan surface, resulting in a super smooth, even film coating that resists surface micro-pinholes. Film lam- ination allows a thicker non- stick layer for added durabili- ty. Pans and bakeware coat- ed with the E n d u r a F i l m t e c h n o l o g y offer superior release, so food can be cooked and baked with little or no oil, resulting in healthier food preparation. Chef's Planet Commercial will also offer PTFE nonstick oven & grill mats, oven liners, For more information, call 877.703.8889, visit www.chefsplanet.com/commercial, email info@chefsplanet.com or stop by booth #S1517. Neatfreak Transfers 'W' Innovation to Shoe Storage For three decades, Neatfreak Group has designed, manufactured and distributed innovative products to retailers around the world. Neatfreak provides imaginative solutions that make life easier, keep things organized and helps control chaos from the closet to the laundry room and beyond. First, it took inspiration from dispos- able shaver handles, which offer stiff durability yet are lightweight, and devel- oped a thin "W" profile structure to its hangers. The result was a 10 percent increase in strength for the same material weight compared to a simple plastic tubular hanger design. With maximum durability while using less material, reducing the carbon footprint, it's a true environmental story. Now, it has transferred that innova- tion to the Neatshoe, a stackable shoe rack with unlimited configurations and retail possibilities at a reasonable cost. This innovative shoe rack goes beyond the simple plastic OPP shoe rack with its strength and durability, stylish design and functionality, as well as affordability. The "W" profile gives this structure the sturdiness and strength of a heavy- duty shoe rack, while keeping it lightweight by using less plastic than a solid structure. The honeycomb design allows the con- sumer to place cross poles wherever they are needed to config- ure a shoe rack that suits their needs by moving poles closer together for kids' small shoes, stagger the front and back poles for high heel shoes or remove a pole Continued on Page 85
