Wireless World Tuesday, September 12, 2017 4 StrikeDrive Converter – Car AUX-In Audio Converter for Lightning Devices Scosche has once again utilized its expertise in consumer tech and car audio products and accessories, which began in 1980, to create the StrikeDrive™ Converter (Part #USBCA). This innova- tive product overcomes mobile device connectivity issues created when the 3.5mm headphone jack was removed from some popular smartphones. With StrikeDrive Converter, you can use an existing Lightning ® charge and sync cable to connect an iPhone ® , iPad ® or iPod ® to the converter's USB port. Then simply connect the 3-foot long 3.5mm cable, which comes with the con- verter, to the converter and to your vehi- cle's audio system AUX input. The Digital to Analog converter will convert the audio signal that is passing through the iPhone/iPad/iPod Lightning connec- tion and route the signal through the con- verter's auxiliary 3.5mm connector. This provides the path necessary for the clear and crisp output audio signal to reach your vehicle's audio system. The low-profile car kit is powered through any 12-volt power socket in your vehicle. The converter's illuminated USB port permits the easy connection of a charge and sync cable in the dark. The USB port also charges your Apple devices with 10W, 2.1 Amp of charging power, ensuring the fastest, safest charge possible. The iPhone, for example, can safely receive a charge of up to 10 watts, making S t r i k e D r i v e Converter the ideal charger. Optimized charg- ing circuitry will not cause any harm to less powerful devices. The StrikeDrive Converter – easy to install, works perfectly, great sound. It's now available with an MSRP of $29.99. It will also work with Apple devices that still have the 3.5mm headphone jack like the iPhone 6. The last surprise – this con- verter is also fully compatible with Android devices, but you'll need to use a Micro USB charge and sync cable. Learn more at booth #N.1142. Services and Applications Optimized for Cloud The accelerating digital transformation of many industries that enables new busi- ness models and new services will be deployed at an unprecedented pace. A key enabler of these new services is the ability to "slice" the network logically for different purposes, with each slide pro- viding customized functionality. The ideal 5G core is designed for network slicing on a shared and distributed cloud infrastructure to meet the diverse requirements of various industries and enterprises. Connectivity, security, mobility and communication services of users, or devices, are managed by network applica- tions. These cloud-optimized network applications are developed specifically for deployment in distributed cloud environ- ments, while delivering 5G service charac- Continued on Page 25 AN INDEPENDENT PUBLICATION NOT AFFILIATED WITH MWCA OR CTIA Kimberly Oser Publisher Jules Denton Senior Associate Publisher Lorrie Baumann Editorial Director JoEllen Lowry • Jeanie Catron • Karrie Welborn Associate Editors Yasmine Brown Art Director Jonathan Schieffer Graphic Designer Caitlyn McGrath • Sarah Glenn Customer Service Managers Jay Watson • Hannah Stefanovich Show Logistics & Distribution John Pechota Sales Floor Manager Marcos Morhaim Senior Account Manager Steven Taylor Account Manager Tara Neal Director of Operations Enrico Cecchi European Sales Wireless World is published by Oser Communications Group ©2017 All rights reserved.
