GENERAL NEWS www.kitchenwarenews.com n JULY 2017 n KITCHENWARE NEWS & HOUSEWARES REVIEW 7 SPLATTER GUARD PRO FROM JAZ INNOVATIONS The Splatter Guard Pro™ lets you enjoy your favorite foods without the mess and clean-up from splattered grease and sauces. Traditional splatter guards have mesh screens that completely cover the pan, trapping moisture and causing foods to steam rather than fry. And when you want to stir or turn the food you need to lift off the screen, allowing grease to splatter all over – not much spatter protection there. The Splatter Guard Pro patent-pending design solves this problem. The Splatter Guard Pro has high sloping sidewalls that trap grease splatters, keeping countertops clean. A large center opening allows steam to escape, letting foods fry crispy brown and not get soggy. The center opening also allows users to easily stir and turn foods, ensuring even frying and browning. The Splatter Guard Pro is made from platinum cured silicone and is heat resistant to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. The flexible silicone design fits any pot up to 13 inches in diameter. Its dishwasher safe, and the handle folds for easy storage. Enjoy great food while keeping counters free of grease.
