EdTech Show Daily Tuesday, June 27, 2017 8 INTRODUCING BOXLIGHT'S NEWEST PROJECTORS & DISPLAYS Boxlight is pleased to announce that it is debuting two new projector lines, along with the new ProColor interactive dis- plays, at ISTE in booth #1206. The newest additions increase opportunities for schools to acquire solutions that suit both their classrooms and their budgets. The new Cambridge and P9 projec- tor lines bring the latest technology in standard- and short-throw projected images and collaborative areas to the classroom. Schools have the option of interactive and non-interactive projec- tors, including the P9 WX36N – the only standard-throw interactive projector available on the market. Cambridge Projectors The four projectors in the budget-friend- ly Cambridge line are designed to replace schools' outdated or failing projectors with ones that provide detailed and bril- liant images. New image adjustment fea- tures for these projectors allow them to be easily set up with a school's current interactive technology: the Cambridge X33N standard-throw projector provides 3,300 lumens of brightness; the Cambridge WX33NST short-throw WXGA projector provides 3,300 lumens of brightness; the Cambridge WX36N standard-throw WXGA projector pro- vides 3,600 lumens of brightness; and the Cambridge X37NST short-throw projec- tor provides 3,700 lumens of brightness P9 Projectors The two P9 interactive projectors allow up to five students to work together on an interactive lesson with an infrared pen. Both provide schools on a budget with brilliantly large images that would be impossible with flat panel displays of comparable size. The P9 WX33NST pen-interactive short- throw projector creates interactive areas as large as 100 inches. The P9 WX36N is the only standard-throw inter- active projector available—it allows teachers to easily move the projector from one classroom to the next, and cre- ates interactive areas as large as 110 inch- es. Both interactive projectors come with three MimioMobile™ connections and the easy-to-learn and easy-to-use MimioStudio™ classroom software for creation and delivery of engaging les- sons. The classroom software and app enable collaboration and assessment either at the front of the room or on almost any student device. ProColor Interactive Flat Panel Displays Many schools have a budget, classroom size and instructional purpose that best suit flat panel displays. The four new ultra-high definition (UHD) ProColor flat panel displays provide 4K clarity so that onscreen con- tent is easier to see, even in large class- rooms. In keeping with Boxlight's mission of providing flexibility for dif- ferent classroom needs, educators have a choice of sizes: the ProColor 652 interac- tive display (65-inch display); the ProColor 702 interactive display (70- inch display); the ProColor 752 interac- tive display (75-inch display); and the ProColor 862 interactive display (86- inch display). The Touch 360° interactivity fea- tures up to 20 single-touch points or 10 dual-touch for gestures – users can work simultaneously, driving collaborative learning. Each interactive display includes the MimioStudio classroom software and allows for complete inte- gration with other Boxlight products, including the MimioMobile collabora- tion and assessment app. For more information, visit www .boxlight.com or stop by booth #1206. EPSON LAUNCHES NEW ULTRA SHORT-THROW LASER DISPLAY FOR THE CLASSROOM Epson, the No. 1 selling projector brand worldwide and a leader in education dis- play technology, merges the rich color output of its 3LCD technology and the world's first inorganic laser phosphor with inorganic 3LCD panels to create extremely bright and long lasting ultra short-throw laser projection displays specifically designed for the classroom. "Research has shown that students need large images in order to see content being displayed in the classroom and our new ultra short-throw laser displays are the latest foray into meeting this need," said Jason Meyer, Senior Product Manager of Projectors at Epson America. "Laser displays provide schools with a long-lasting, budget-friendly solution that supports a collaborative learning experience." The new BrightLink 710Ui Interactive Laser Display offers a large, bright 100-inch image, 20,000 hours of virtually maintenance-free operation, and instant on/off – perfect for the type of large format viewing that takes place in classrooms. Both displays feature a full array of connectivity options, including three HDMI ports allowing educators to easily connect multiple peripheral devices to the display. The BrightLink 710Ui also offers an optional wireless module and it supports enterprise-level network encryption for the complex net- work environments found in schools today. Additionally, the BrightLink 710Ui enables interactivity with simple wireless display of content from the big screen to mobile devices for individualized learn- ing. It offers simultaneous display options from as many as four devices at a time, as well as con- nectivity for up to 50 devices – including Chromebooks, PC, MAC, iPads and Android – with the Epson iProjection app with Moderator func- tion. With the iProjection app, users have the ability to send content from the projected display to iProjection-connected mobile devices and to utilize the built-in pen tools in the app to annotate on the content they receive. For instance, teachers can send math problems to students' devices and then, once students complete the prob- lems, display students' individualized work for the whole class to review. The BrightLink 710Ui offers 4,000 lumens of color and white brightness with a full HD WUXGA display for crisp images even in well-lit classrooms. It delivers a dynamic contrast ratio of up to 2,500,000:1 and a maximum viewing size of 100 inches, providing the optimal viewing experience, clear readability and unsurpassed sharpness. Built-in pen and touch annotation allows up to six users to draw, share and collaborate using familiar ges- tures. It also works with all software used in classrooms today and includes a one-year subscription to Smart Notebook. Twice the Collaboration Space When it comes to communication and collaboration, the sky is the limit with BrightLink with DuoLink. This unique feature allows schools to install two BrightLink interactive displays side by side to create one super-wide interactive space up to 177.5 inches diagonal size (53 inches high by 169.5 inches wide). The new BrightLink 710Ui ultra short-throw laser display will be avail- able in November 2017 through Epson's Brighter Futures program, which pro- vides education pricing and extended warranties.
