When tea is ready, simply place it atop your cup. This will cause a valve at the bottom to release: crystal-clear tea flows down, while the mesh filter retains all the leaves at the bottom. Easy to clean and dishwasher safe and made in Taiwan of food-grade plastic. It comes with a durable stainless steel mesh filter and "BPA-free" pre-printed on the multi-lingual box. Adagio Teas 973.253.7400 www.adagioxl.com ZYLISS MULTI-PREP MANDOLINE With consumers and retailers alike requiring innovation to make food preparation quicker and more convenient, the slicing and grating categories have always been in high demand. Following a period of intensive research into how con- sumers process slicing and grating tasks in the home, Zyliss introduce their safest and most advanced Mandoline to date, the Multi-Prep. The product includes several enhanced safety features, consisting of: push button activated pop- up julienne blades, easy clean sliding plates, a safety lock and the patented SmoothGlide™ food holder. The latter is fixed to the body via a sliding glide rail, which delivers a smooth con- trolled cutting action for a variety of food types and keeps the hands well away from the cutting surfaces. It also features a built-in feed tube for longer foods such as carrots and cucumbers. The suggested retail price is $59.99. DK Brands U.S. customercare@dkbrands.us www.dkbhouseholdltd.com FRYWALL SPLATTER SHIELD FRYWALL ™ is a skirt-like shield made of high-temperature, food-safe sili- cone. It rests snugly inside the lip of frying pans and opens upward, at a 120-degree angle, creating a continuous convex wall above the rim of the pan. It stops splatter before it reaches stovetops or clothes, but allows steam to escape freely. Because the wall is widest at the top, the pan's cooking surface is always easy to see and access. Unlike traditional splatter screens, it provides continuous protection, even when adding, stirring or flipping. FRYWALL is dishwasher safe and stores away in a compact sleeve, and can withstand up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Comes in four colors. The suggested retail price is $21.95 - $28.95. Gowanus Kitchen Lab www.frywall.com ZEAL NON STICK SILICONE BAKING SHEET Consumers don't have to worry about cookies sticking baking sheets with high-grade silicone. Heat resistant and non-stick, this silicone mat is perfect for baking pastries or cookies, and works as a prep mat, too. The mat is odorless, and won't absorb tastes or smells either. Choose from 12 bright colors. Dishwasher safe and heat resistant. Kitchen Innovations 905.833.3628 www.kitcheninnovationsinc.com Owners of Juka Innovations Corp. and creators of TubShroom have launched the SinkShroom, a sustainable solution to prevent clogged sink drains. The new prototype comes to life after demand from consumers who saw the difference TubShroom made in keeping their bath drains un-clogged. Husband and wife duo Elena and Serge Karnegie are eager to introduce their next invention, which is now available nationwide. Just like TubShroom, SinkShroom works to capture any and all fallen hair, but this time fits into a standard 1.25-inch sink drain. The tool was designed to rise about half an inch above the drain in order to provide seamless water flow, while preventing hair and other objects f rom passing through. It is a chemical-free way to keep drains clean and an eco-friendly alternative to harmful liquid drain cleaners. SinkShroom has been tested on all types of hair, proven to work with both human and pet hair. "We were thrilled to find the solution to a problem we know so many people have, including ourselves, and to be able to share it with the world. Our hope is to make people's lives easier and eliminate the use of harmful drain solutions and chemicals that wear away at pipes," says Elena Karnegie, Co-Founder and Inventor. After successful Kickstarter and IndieGoGo campaigns launched in early 2016, the prototype raised a combined $74,000 and garnered support f rom over 41 countries. SinkShroom is now available in five different colors: white, blue, green, grey and orange, on Amazon.com for $12.99. It will soon be available at Bed Bath & Beyond, The Home Depot, Ace Hardware stores and other retail locations. For more information about the products, please visit www.tubshroom.com.
