KN Taylor Precision Products Introduces Filament Brands Assistent Original Adds Accessories The Assistent Original has only improved in the more than 60 years since Alvar Lenning introduced the first one. The original cream color has been supplemented with brighter and more colors, and consumers can also make use of 18 different accessories to meet their specific kitchen needs. Stepless speed control and overload protection have made it stronger, and more reliable. And to be sure that each unit is up to par, the company tests each individual machine before it leaves the factory in Sweden. Every Assistent Original® comes with accessories that will make kitchen work easier. The Basic Package contains a stainless steel bowl, dough hook, dough roller and scraper and spatula, a beater bowl and balloon and cookie whisks. The DeLuxe package includes even more, including a mincer, four hole discs, three sausage horns, strainer, grater, four pasta discs, a citrus press, a blender and a splash shield. The same mixer can be used to whisk, mix, knead, press, blend, grind, shred, stuff sausage and strain. Plus, it's compatible with earlier models, meaning new accessories can be used on older Assistent Original mixers. The bowl capacity is 21 cups of flour which, depending on the recipe, will result in 12–15 lbs of bread dough at one time. The bowl is above the motor and hearing, which allows the bowl to rotate instead of the utensils, as with other mixers. This design makes the motor more efficient and stronger while making kitchen work easier since ingredients can be added f rom above. The Ankarsrum Assistent Original is manufactured and assembled by hand in the well-known industrial town of Ankarsrumin Småland, Sweden. The mixer is build to last a comes with a seven-year warranty, and is tested before it hits the shelf. For more information, visit www.assistent-original.com. KN
