Kitchenware News & Housewares Review Show Daily 1 7 Monday, March 20, 2017 SAFE HOUSEHOLD CLEANING PRODUCTS FOR GRANITE, STEEL AND GLASS FROM B+B Concerned about safety with cleaning products? Check out B+B Household Cleaning Products (B+B). Created by Claudia Crea, B+B's line of "made in the USA," chemically safe cleaning products are safe for family, pets and the environ- ment. In fact, Crea and her husband named their company in honor of their two dogs, Balthazar and Brisco, (B+B), and a portion from the sale of every bot- tle is donated to local humane societies in honor of Zar and Brisco. The company, founded in 2015 and located in Akron, Ohio, was the result of Crea's frustration in keeping stone coun- ters, stainless appliances, and glass cleaned to her personal standards. From fingerprints to splashes from the frying pan, she realized that she didn't have the correct products available to complete these tasks satisfactorily. Because she believed that different surfaces have different cleaning needs, she separated types of cleaning solu- tions into types of surfaces. She tapped into her background as a chemist and added her husband's knowledge of his family's stone business. They created, right in their own home, a line of prod- ucts that cleaned and restored kitchen surfaces and appliances while leaving a pristine finish – and even more impor- tantly, products that were completely safe for family, pets and the environ- ment too. The company's four products are: TrueVeue Glass Cleaner, a lavender- scented cleaner that quickly removes dirt and grease and produces a streak-free fin- ish. TrueVeue is recommended for use on glass surfaces only; DailyStohn Granite Cleaner, which comes in two scents, Meyer lemon or mint, for cleaning restoring and protecting natural sur- faces in the home while providing a non- greasy, streak-free finish on granite, mar- ble and other hard surfaces; and PureStiel Stainless Steel Cleaner, created for stain- less steel appliances, removes dirt and grease and provides a streak-free finish. Crea says the company is most proud of the fact that its cleaning prod- ucts are always safe for the home envi- ronment, for family and for pets too. They company has come to the International Home and Housewares show to spread the word about B+B Household Cleaning Products and to meet prospective buyers. Crea added that the company's target customers are socially conscious and eco-friendly con- sumers who may be beginning or profi- cient cleaners looking for premium prod- ucts in an attractive design. B+B also pro- vides a subscription service called CleanFreaks, which allows customers to schedule regular deliv- eries of B+B products at a discounted price with no set commit- ment necessary. Prior to each delivery, the company sends a reminder email showing the item price and any applica- ble discount. A CleanFreak subscription reduces the need for a long-term commit- ment while allowing customers to always have that reminder available. Customers can replace products using discretionary timing rather than with a rigid time schedule. As Crea notes, "Better products with better results allow you to spend more time with your loved ones." VIATEK & QUIRKY TEAM UP TO BRING BACK PIVOT POWER Viatek Consumer Products Group has always maintained a reputation for excel- lence, and 2017 promises to continue that tradition with the re-launch of the Quirky Pivot Power line by Viatek. Breathing new life into the established Quirky brand, Viatek is updating the line with a sleek new look and features suitable for the technology of 2017 and beyond. It's a new year and a new start for the Quirky brand! Innovative design and unique prod- ucts have always been the hallmark of the Viatek brands. The company's reputation for quality and ingenuity draws inven- tors, retailers and consumers alike, and makes working with Quirky to rejuve- nate the Pivot Power line a natural move for both companies. Viatek President Lou Lentine stat- ed, "We knew it was a great product and everyone has been excited to relaunch the Pivot Power line. The reaction at CES was incredibly enthusi- astic and people are already placing orders and scheduling meetings to get a more hands-on look at the improve- ments we've made to the line so far. All of us here at Viatek are excited to see what hap- pens this weekend at IHHA with the launch of even more prod- ucts!" With strong patents that have kept cheap imitations off the market, the qual- ity and integrity of the Quirky brand has always been impeccable. These patents have also allowed developers to ensure that they have ample time to research and design new products and release only the best of the best to market. Following that model, Viatek will also be handling Quirky's Power Products and it is already turning its eyes to expanding and improving on the line. With a nod to the changes in tech- nology, Viatek has updat- ed existing products to meet consumer needs at a price everyone will love. New products are being reviewed every day and both companies are eager to launch them in the upcom- ing year. The Pivot Power and Power Products will be in stores in early 2017, and can already be found on the Home Shopping Network, HSN.com and at QuirkyPivotPower.com. TENNESSEE BARREL STOVES INTRODUCES NEW EXPEDITION GRADE PRODUCT LINE Inspired by a love of the outdoors and convinced that the camp stoves currently on the market could be better, two years ago John King started tinkering with stain- less steel to engineer the world's best camp stove. He's announced that his com- pany, Tennessee Barrel Stoves, has devel- oped a brand new line of expedition-grade camp stoves and gear that is available for sale to the public at the company's web- site, www.tennesseebarrelstoves.com. Built for a lifetime, and featuring patent-pending designs, the Recon 763 and Base Camp 362 wood burning camp stoves are constructed of solid 8- and 16- gauge stainless steel. Because of their solid construction, the stoves carry a lim- ited lifetime guarantee unprecedented in the industry. "These stoves are designed to be passed down for generations. Our stoves are serious tools that go beyond looking good and cooking food. We're talking about a potential lifesaver. You can go weeks without food and days without water. Yet, once cold enough, you can die within hours. I've been out on the trail for weeks at a time, and this is the stove I want with me," said King. Chuck Morris, Vice President of Marketing, added, "In the industry, there's nothing like it. For those who need serious gear that performs time after time, this is your new camp stove." Additional precision-engineered products include accessories for the Base Camp 362, an exclusive all-stainless Barrel Stove Kit and the popular Hot Plate Kit, for those who like building things themselves. The company has given demos at outdoor shows, most recently the Great Smoky Mountains Outdoor Expo. For more information, visit www.tennessee barrelstoves.com.
