Kitchenware News & Housewares Review Show Daily Saturday, March 18, 2017 4 0 FUSIONBRANDS' NEW SPRING PRODUCT INTRODUCTIONS & NEW LOWER PRICES For Spring 2017, Fusionbrands will launch eight new products, including product line extensions for the CoverBlubber ® , now in a three-pack set of crystal clear, and a mini StirStik with a new tapered side edge. Other new food prep innovations are the MushroomCloth™, a silicone gentle- touch brush that is more like a cloth than a brush, that delicately removes dirt without scarring or disturbing the color from mushrooms and other deli- cate vegetables or fruit. Next in line is the EggXactRing™, a silicone fully adjustable food cooking ring to give you perfectly sized eggs, pancakes or customized stacked food presentations. The ring adjusts from 1-1/2 inches to 4- 1/4 inches in diameter and is microwave, stovetop, oven and dish- washer safe. For those that love fresh strawberries, the new PushBerry™ is the first one-piece designed hand held strawberry tool that completely removes the core and slices whole fresh strawberries all in a single easy one- step motion. Looking outside the cooking arena, Fusionbrands is also introducing items into the cleaning category. The WaveSponge™ is a modern day sili- cone kitchen-cleaning tool with unique wave scrubbing features. WaveSponge comes complete with an internal area to add and release soap, a squeegee to push liquids or crumbs off the counter- top and a sturdy nylon scraper for stuck on foods on pots, pans, dishes and even the stove top, all in the convenience of a single tool. Another new cleaning product is the ThumbScraper™, a small task scraper, great for removing price tags, other stickers and grime and gook that build up around the home. With its small size, ThumbScraper will fit in those hard to reach areas – it's the handy little "thumbnail and manicure saver." Just when you thought Fusionbrands couldn't possibly have more to offer alongside its new product introduc- tions and expanding into the cleaning category, it has lowered some every- day wholesale and retail prices on over 10 prod- ucts. Price reductions include popular items such as the CitrusPod™, FoodPod ® , HeatWave ® , PetitePots™ and more. "We wanted to give retailers a jump- start to the New Year with new innova- tive products and lower prices so they can stock up on customer favorites as well as see our commitment to continu- ing to grow the brand," says Bill Reibl, President of Fusionbrands. BERATEK LAUNCHES SPACE-SAVING FOOD POUCH ORGANIZER BeraTek Industries, a product design and manufacturing company, has launched a new Food Pouch Organizer designed to hold and organize the pop- ular portable food pouches. Per a January 2015 study, "Plastic Film," by The Freedonia Group Inc., the global pouch market is expected to grow 6.2 percent per year through 2018, reaching $37.3 billion. The Group predicts the pouch demand in the United Sates will increase 4.6 percent annually to reach $9.4 billion by 2018. BeraTek's Food Pouch Organizer offers a convenient space-saving solution for organizing and storing these popular food pouches in cabinets, pantries and the fridge. "My son is at the age where we keep a stock of food pouches," said Gerald Beranek, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BeraTek. "I was tired of fum- bling through the pantry looking for a pouch when my son was hungry. I designed the Food Pouch Organizer to be simple to use and hold the pouches so we could quickly and easily grab the flavor my son wanted." "The primary market for food pouches are children aged 3-7 years. However, pre-teens, along with fitness enthusiasts are a growing consumer base," said Beranek. "Food pouches are portable and a healthy choice for a broader audi- ence as more peo- ple are making a conscious effort to know what they are putting into their bodies. The Food Pouch Organizer isn't just for baby food pouch- es; it can be used for anything packaged in a pouch with the twist top." The organizer is sold as a set of three racks that can be mounted easily inside or underneath cabinets with the included adhesive tape. The organizer can accom- modate most leading baby food pouch brands. Each rack holds up to six food pouches. The Food Pouch Organizer is manu- factured by BeraTek in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is currently available on Amazon and retails for $14.99 (includes three racks). About BeraTek Industries BeraTek Industries is a product design and manu- facturing company that has mastered the art of developing simple, innovative solutions for life's little challenges. Check out B+B Household Cleaning Products (B+B). Created by Claudia Crea, B+B's line of "made in the USA," chemically safe cleaning products are safe for family, pets and the environ- ment. In fact, Crea and her husband named their company in honor of their two dogs, Balthazar and Brisco, (B+B), and a portion from the sale of every bot- tle is donated to local humane societies in honor of Zar and Brisco. The company, founded in 2015 and located in Akron, Ohio, was the result of Crea's frustration in keeping stone coun- ters, stainless appliances, and glass cleaned to her personal standards. From fingerprints to splashes from the frying pan, she realized that she didn't have the correct products available to complete these tasks satisfactorily. Because she believed that different surfaces have different cleaning needs, she separated types of cleaning solu- tions into types of surfaces. She tapped into her background as a chemist and added her husband's knowledge of his family's stone business. They created, right in their own home, a line of prod- ucts that cleaned and restored kitchen surfaces and appliances while leaving a pristine finish – and even more impor- tantly, products that were completely safe for family, pets and the environ- ment too. The company's four products are: TrueVeue Glass Cleaner, a lavender- scented cleaner that quickly removes dirt and grease and produces a streak-free fin- ish. TrueVeue is recommended for use on glass surfaces only; DailyStohn Granite Cleaner, which comes in two scents, Meyer lemon or mint, for cleaning restoring and protecting natural sur- faces in the home while providing a non- greasy, streak-free finish on granite, mar- ble and other hard surfaces; and PureStiel Stainless Steel Cleaner, created for stain- less steel appliances, removes dirt and grease and provides a streak-free finish. Crea says the company is most proud of the fact that its cleaning prod- ucts are always safe for the home envi- ronment, for family and for pets too. They company has come to the International Home and Housewares show to spread the word about B+B Household Cleaning Products and to meet prospective buyers. Crea added that the company's target customers are socially conscious and eco-friendly con- sumers who may be beginning or profi- cient cleaners looking for premium prod- ucts in an attractive design. B+B also pro- vides a subscription service called CleanFreaks, which allows customers to schedule regular deliv- eries of B+B products at a discounted price with no set commit- ment necessary. Prior to each delivery, the company sends a reminder email showing the item price and any applica- ble discount. A CleanFreak subscription reduces the need for a long-term commit- ment while allowing customers to always have that reminder available. Customers can replace products using discretionary timing rather than with a rigid time schedule. As Crea notes, "Better products with better results allow you to spend more time with your loved ones."
