Aftermarket Daily News 1 5 Friday, November 4, 2016 COMPETITION INTERCOOLER FOR NISSAN GT-R The competition intercooler for Nissan GT-R has the following core size (2 x [360mm x 294mm x 110mm] = 23.300cm³), providing a 76 percent larg- er frontal area and 94 percent more vol- ume compared to the original intercooler. Engineers have increased the intercooler core size and efficiency, as well as improved the end tank design to remove any OEM bottlenecks, resulting in an increased flow rating and charge cooling properties. This Nissan GT-R Intercooler Kit uses the award-winning Wagner Tuning Competition Intercooler Core, which is made specifically for this appli- cation. It is one of the highest quality tube fin cores available on the market. It features a new internal structure, with a weight of just 2 x 9.1kg and combined with freeform cast aluminum end tanks optimized in CAD. Flow analyses and simulations were created to optimize the design for the best possible internal air- flow. The intercooler kit also includes a suitable carbon air shroud to ensure opti- mum airflow to the intercooler, as well as additional silicone hoses with an enlarged cross-section. This intercooler kit is the best choice when it comes to performance gains and low intake temperatures. It has an anti- corrosion protective coating with perfect thermal heat dissipating character. It features optimal cooling with clearly more power. The kit is ready for installation. Fitment is easy, replacing the OEM intercooler. All products undergo rigor- ous quality control and are also tested by com- pressive strength of up to 6 bar. This intercool- er kit is suitable for rac- ing. Wagner Tuning corporate headquar- ters and the associated development cen- ter is located in Germany, with addition- al sales offices in the United States and United Kingdom. JW SPEAKER EXPANDS LINE OF INNOVATIVE OFF-ROAD LED LIGHTS J.W. Speaker Corporation has expanded its line of innovative, Jeep-specific LED off-road lights. This company's Jeep-spe- cific lighting package, referred to as the J Series, enables owners to fully outfit their vehicle from front to back in premi- um performance J.W. Speaker LED light- ing. "The off-road 4x4 market has long been a focus for us, so we were especial- ly pleased to announce this innovative, Jeep-specific series for our off-road end users last year," said Michael Stoeckel, Director of Aftermarket Sales for J.W. Speaker. The first J Series product was the Model 8700 Evolution J LED headlight. This headlight was designed with inte- grated anti-flicker technology to elimi- nate LED flickering caused by the Jeep's electrical system. This was the world's first aftermarket LED Jeep headlight where the owner can simply plug in the headlight and drive, eliminating the addi- tional expense of bulky wire harnesses. In addition to the headlight, the Model 6145 J and Model 6150 J LED fog lights were added, offering the same anti- flicker technology for Jeep fog upgrades. The 6145 J Series retrofits stock fog lights in OEM and aftermarket bumpers, while the Model 6150 J Series features a universal pedestal mount, ideal for place- ment anywhere on a Jeep. J.W. Speaker then expanded the line to include a stylized aftermarket LED tail light, the Model 279 J Series. This LED tail light offers a true plug and play installation for Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited models with a one- of-a-kind look. The sleek design incorpo- rates innovative "Light Blade" technolo- gy and blacked out styling, offering a brand new look and feel for off-road consumers. The housing is con- toured to serve as a plug and play replacement specifically for JK model Jeeps. "We listened to what our customers were saying they need- ed in a Jeep-specific LED series, and we delivered a premium package that's unequalled," said Tim Speaker, J.W. Speaker's Co-President and Co-Owner. "We appreciate our off-road Jeep cus- tomers and couldn't have been more excited to give them a quality Jeep-spe- cific series they could hit the ground run- ning with." J.W. Speaker followed the launch of its J Series lights with a new assortment of off-road auxiliary lights, including the Models TS3001V, TS3001R and TS4000. These LED off-road lights are designed specifically for rugged off- roading. They feature heavy-duty, impact-resistant housing and state-of-the-art LEDs resist- ant to shock and vibration. The latest addition to J.W. Speaker's offering is the TS1000 LED light bar. This rugged, low-profile 14-inch light bar comes in high beam, pencil beam, flood beam or wide flood beam pattern configurations for maxi- mum visibility. An optional double- stack mount allows users to mix and match beam patterns and tailor the illu- mination to their specific style of driv- ing and/or terrain. J.W. Speaker Corporation is bring- ing its line of 4x4 LED off-road lights along to the SEMA Show! Look for them in booth #31267 in the Upper South Hall. THE DIGITAL SHOP – TAKE THE LEAP, IT HAS YOU COVERED Do you find yourself wondering, "How can I improve my shop operations more and more? How will I be able to match the ever changing digital communica- tion? How can I speak the same digital language as my customers?" If so, you are not alone. You feel that you have reached a level of excellence in your paper rack process, and more investment in tools and staff might not yield the business results you were hoping for. You are frustrated that there is a dif- ferent software program for each new feature set and your service advisor is now asked to manage between five and eight different software programs at a time, sometimes more. Even worse, once the shop gets busy, your service advisor starts skipping advising service. The event-driven nature of the hectic process increases the number of little mistakes technicians and service advisors make. The Digital Shop (www.digital supervisortraining.com) takes your shop into a new era, which offers an experi- ence you wish you had offered all along, or as Scott Meyers, Owner of Meyers' AutoTech and subscriber to The Digital Shop, said: "You couldn't pry the tablets out of my techs' cold, dead hands." The passionate AutoVitals staff has asked shop owners to be part of the implemen- tation team and after two years, it has processed more than six million digital inspections and even more digital work orders. 6 Solutions Delivered by The Digital Shop Did you know there are 30 times more Google searches for education on parts than searches for your shop? Motorists, searching to be educated, land on your TopFuel site instead of other sites, which at least quadruples your search volume compared with traditional web traffic. It is time to capture those motorists while they are doing educational research. Technicians stay at the vehicle at all times, because all the information they need is on the SmartFlow tablet, including time clocking. Service advisors use their SmartFlow control panel to dispatch technicians with real-time alerts on tech efficiency, avoiding money losing jobs. No running back and forth between front counter and the back shop anymore. Motorists have the ability to digest Digital Inspection results at the counter, at home, at work, on their desktop screen or even on-the-go using their smart- phone. Additional educational videos will help your service advisor to best educate the customer. You and your team benefit from one integrated CRM software that increases appointment rates by leveraging inspec- tion results and pictures about the vehicle status. The mobile app lets motorists receive promotions, service reminders, recall alerts, etc. You, as shop owner, and especially if you are an absentee owner, finally have the ability to watch important KPIs in real-time from the office, home or on vacation while maintaining full visibility. How exactly? Quickly iden- tify pencil whipping techni- cians and other areas of improvement by staff mem- bers. AutoVitals is the only Apple certified business solution provider in the automotive aftermarket, and it earned it with trusted customer support, solid serv- ice delivery and an exciting and revolu- tionary roadmap for future products. Thousands of shops have discovered an easier way to do business in The Digital Shop. These shops have accomplished unprecedented improvements in KPIs. Their recipe for success? The Digital Shop. How do they operate so efficiently in this new digital environment? Training. It is conducting four types of training with hands-on classes and onsite visits to make an immediate impact as soon as you finished the training. Take the leap, it has you covered – sign up at www.digitalsupervisortrain- ing.com. Take home a tablet and take your shop Digital. For more information, go to www .autovitals.com.
