G a m i n g N e w s W e d n e s d a y, M a r ch 1 6 , 2 0 1 6 1 0 IT'S TIME TO BRING CHARGEPOINT HOME Bets are if you drive an electric vehicle (EV), you know ChargePoint, and if you're not driving on electricity yet, you will be soon. ChargePoint is the largest EV charg- ing network in the world, with over 26,000 charging spots, growing by over 600 new stations per month. Those are only public charging spots – ChargePoint just came out with a networked station for consumer homes. "Customers choose our stations for their reliability, connectivity and conven- ience. Now, EV drivers can access the power of ChargePoint from their own home," said Pasquale Romano, ChargePoint Chief Executive Officer. "The future of our homes, our cars and our lifestyles will be smarter and more connected because of products like ChargePoint Home. This station is unlike any other on the market, and it will change the way people think about driv- ing, home charging and smart energy management." The station offers speed, conven- ience and intelligence, all in an ultra-sleek and durable design. Home delivers about 25 miles of range per hour of charging and uses a standard connector that works with any EV on the road today. It's also slick. Home takes up less space on the wall than a piece of paper and looks more like a tablet than a charging sta- tion. The real differentiating piece is the station's connectivity. As a networked, WiFi-enabled station, drivers can manage everything from the ChargePoint mobile app. You can use the app to start charging, schedule charging to avoid peak hours and set charging reminders to ensure you don't for- get to plug in. The mobile app will even recommend the best time to charge based on your utility plan. Home also works with Nest, so you can track usage and save on energy costs. Now you can see all your res- idential, public and workplace charging in one place with your ChargePoint account, and track things like money spent, energy used and miles added during a charging session. Starting at $499, Home is among the most affordable, attractive, feature rich stations on the market. Home is available on Amazon today. future-friendly connectivity and capabili- ties. More than just a printer, the Paycheck NextGen is a PC-based infra- structure powered by a Dual Core processor. Beyond being the fastest, smartest and toughest TITO printer, the Paycheck NextGen not only prints TITO tickets but acts as USB Host, allowing it to run additional compo- nents as well as secondary software and media. In addition to being promotional coupon ready, it is fully integrated with the following connectivity: Ethernet port, HDMI, five USB ports (two host and three slave), Serial, Micro SD card reader, Bluetooth and optional wireless connectivity. With game management systems looking to offer new features and technologies such as network downloading and promotional coupon- ing, the Paycheck NextGen is ready to answer these needs and can be fully net- worked through its Ethernet port. It can provide promotional coupons through USB ports; it offers easier serviceabili- ty through USB, HDMI and Bluetooth, while providing technician an array of trouble shooting content and menus via its web-based reports; and can be a USB Host for other components through its second processor, truly mak- ing it an innovative future proof TITO printing solution. When it comes to printers, cus- tomers often identify ticket jams, ticket misprints called "half tickets" and wast- ed paper, as their main issues. The Nex tG en (C o nt'd. fro m p. 1 ) NextGen answers these needs by elimi- nating the use of unreliable presenters and providing the first completely straight and fully integrated anti-jam- ming paper path. This feature guaran- tees a fully-printed ticket each time without any jams. This is the only print- er to offer a standard 400 ticket tray with available protective cover in order to protect thermal paper from UV dis- coloration, debris and dust as well as cabinet components which may inter- fere with the ticket stack. In order to maximize each ticket stack, we've also integrated the first "Last Ticket" paper low sensor, allowing the printer to trig- ger its paper low sensor on the last one or two tickets, beating the competition's 10-20 tickets paper low and providing the operators operational cost savings and less wasted TITO paper in return. Rounding off its innovative features, the NextGen's anti-spillage conduits offer additional protection for specific environments like bar-top games as these channels will deviate any liquids spilled away from critical electronic components. In addition to answering the indus- try's biggest needs, as a Paycheck series product, the NextGen is a drop-in replacement with Paycheck 4 and its competitors. It's completely hot-swap- pable, is still the fastest printer with speeds of up to 10in/sec and is the longest lasting printer with over 62 miles of print head life.
