Wireless World Thursday, September 8, 2016 3 4 we do demonstrates our intention to pro- duce vehicles tailored to the specific needs and industries of each individual customer. Some of our customers include: Broken Arrow Communications, Techsico Leasing and Total Telco Specialists. WW: What is your goal for attending CTIA? MT: Our goal for attending CTIA is to increase visibility for our non-CDL truck-mounted aerial lifts and show attendees the cost effectiveness, time saving and work efficiency our wide product line provides, from 34 to 240 foot reaching height. WW: What are you most proud of in ref- erence to the non-CDL chassis? MT: We are very proud of the ability to reach 92-105-120-feet on our aerial lifts, which are mounted on trucks that require no commercial driver's license (non- CDL). The reach of these aerial lift mod- els will increase hourly productivity and profit margin for companies dealing with installation and maintenance in some of the following industries: telecommunica- tions, construction and sign. M&M Lifts (Cont'd. from p. 1) In addition, we are proud of the efficiency we are able to provide to our customers via our aerial lifts, in the form of saving project manager time in regards to planning aerial lift deliver- ies and pick-ups, allowing the cus- tomer to work multiple sites with no drop-off or pick-up fees, as well as no down time waiting for a rental lift to arrive or not being able to rent a par- ticular lift due to its unavailability. Additionally, using our products, espe- cially our aerial lifts mounted on non- CDL chassis, allows customers easier access to sites where delivering a self- propelled lift or utilizing a larger truck would be problematic. WW: Who are your target customers? MT: Our target customers are companies involved in service and maintenance, such as telecommunications construction, sign and electrical contractor companies. WW: What do you see for the future? MT: The company is poised to expand its presence and keep on providing our wide range of aerial lifts ranging from 34 to 240 feet. In turn, this has caused most all programs and rollouts to be rushed with no thought or strategy on what is coming next. They know their product or store is going to require updates, but don't have the luxury of time to develop a solution that is prepared for this certainty. WW: What can a retailer or brand do to address this challenge? What strategy should they adopt? DS: The simple answer is taking on a systems approach to retail. Systems approach translates to identifying a dis- play or fixture program that is designed for changeability at its core. It is impera- tive that retailers partner with suppliers that have adopted this strategy and inte- grate this into the design and engineering of every display or fixture they provide. We have been fortunate in that we have been servicing the wireless industry for decades. This has awarded us a unique perspective of the industry as a whole. It has become second nature for me to challenge our design and engineer- ing teams to incorporate changeability into everything we produce and I attrib- ute this philosophy to my exposure to the wireless and electronics markets. WW: Why is it important to embrace the Walls+Forms (Cont'd. from p. 1) 'systems approach' in store refreshes and updates? DS: As a retailer, your SKUs are con- stantly in flux and it is hard enough to keep up with the latest models, so why complicate the process with needing to manage the change out of the outdated displays with completely new units. Refreshes need to be simple and should not require you to scrap the old unit and increase the waste associated with retail. Adding to that point, it is essential that the system you choose coincides with your brand and marketing strategies. You should not have to sacrifice the look and feel of your store or display by adding the flexibility of change. This is another key aspect of what we demand of our team. Always consider the overall appearance of the display and ensure that it will be a positive experience for the customer. WW: How does this strategy help the environment and save money? DS: In reusing the primary frame and structure, you greatly reduce the amount of waste and resources that go into a refresh. This also provides immense sav- ings when updates arise. Together we can help save the planet one display at a time! For more information, go to www.walls forms.com or stop by booth #1370C. PulseLarsen is a trusted antenna partner. We've shipped over two billion antennas during our 50 years in business. We sup- ply consistent, high-quality products by owning and fully controlling our own factories in both China and the United States. WW: What is PulseLarsen most proud of? OR: We are extremely proud of our Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) antennas for integration into existing designs; rugged outdoor and vehicular mount antennas for all environments; efficient antenna designs that can prolong battery life, reduce required antenna space and/or mitigate PIM – depending on cus- tomer needs. We are proud to offer antenna prod- ucts to cover every frequency and appli- cation that have the option of embedded, internal, external, outdoor, vehicular or in-building antenna systems. WW: What is your goal for the show? OR: PulseLarsen is presenting a number of product innovations in Wireless Infrastructure and providing full technical expertise to customers. The Blue Dot (W3092) embedded chip antenna is engi- neered for WLAN, 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, Zigbee and ISM 2.4GHz. This ultra-small antenna has a profile of only 2.0 x 1.2 x 0.55 mm (L x W x H) and covers 2400- 2483 MHz with 55 percent efficiency. With such a small footprint, The Blue Dot is ideal for a whole range of wearable, medical, IoT devices and applications. Also being presented is the Shadow Low Profile Transit (SLPT) series, which PulseLarsen (Cont'd. from p. 1) offers a wide array of products to cover 700 MHz Public Safety, LTE, Smart Grid, WLAN, ITS and DSRC applica- tions operating at 698-960/1710- 2170/2400-2700/4900-6000 MHz. Antennas are available in both NMO and tamper-proof direct mount products, which support multiple cable and con- nector options. Additionally, we are presenting the IceFin series of transparent, vehicle mount antennas, which have a similar application to SLPT and are packaged in an aesthetically pleasing, transparent package. WW: Who are your target customers? OR: Our customers are engineers, designers, IoT innovators, wireless carri- ers, smart grid, smart cities, transporta- tion, medical device, wearables and auto- mobile manufacturers. WW: How do your products or services help your customers compete in their marketplace? OR: This varies by product line. Embedded antennas easily fit onto existing circuit boards. FPC antennas mount to the inside of device housing. External anten- nas provide excellent gain and efficiency. Vehicle mount antennas provide excellent durability without sacrificing connectivity or efficiency. In-building DAS antennas provide aesthetically pleasing options for UHF, VHF, wireless and public safety communications while mitigating PIM.
