If you spray solvent-based materials, the SATA 400 series is available in two- stage versions with integrated pressure regulation right at the filter, or as a line filter placed ahead of your point of use. Regulators are available with a range of CFM volume from 70 to 150 CFM to control your pressures in the booth, prep- station or mixing room — wherever you would need it. This cleans the air down to 0.01 microns, 10 times finer than most filters you are currently using or seeing advertised today. To use this filter for breathing air, you simply need to wear a charcoal belt unit in conjunction with the SATA Vision 2000™ Full Hood, which is fully NIOSH approved. If you spray waterborne paint in your shop, the requirement of a charcoal stage is met with the three-stage SATA 400 series. By adding the charcoal filter to this series, it now has the ability to not only absorb and protect you from droplets of water, oil and other contami- nants, but it also eliminates oil vapors which are contaminants that can cause expensive re-work in the shops. This also makes the air breathable with only the use of a SATA industrial valve on the belt of the painters. The canisters on the SATA filters are SATA (Cont'd. from p. 1) coated with an aluminum anodizing that is polished on the interior walls. This pre- vents the canisters from rusting and stick- ing to the filter body. The SATA filters also include a true fully-automatic drain valve, which purges moisture and large particulates through an evacuation hose, even at full pressure. No need for manu- al draining, eliminating unwanted sur- prises of water blasts into your paint work. This design helps to keep SATA filters and your air clean. The low-maintenance features of the SATA filtration series are available in two models; the 400 Series, which allows 129.6 CFM at 90 PSI line pressure, or the more economical 70 CFM version 200™ series. Both versions use the exact same filter cartridges, and both give you clean air for breathing or spraying. This elimi- nates the costly need for dual systems to spray and breathe in your shop. Couple the SATA filters with the economical and clean Dan Am Air ® alu- minum piping and eliminate all the air restrictions and contaminants that are currently swimming around in your existing airlines. For more information, visit booth #10609. To learn more about SATA filtra- tion, ask your SATA dealer for a demon- stration by one of Dan-Am Company's many representatives. NN: Cloud-Rider Designs is a Canadian auto aftermarket manufacturer. We have been in business since 1995. We started off with one employee in the garage of the owner's home. We had another man- ufacturer make our product and we then shipped it. Within months, we quickly outgrew this arrangement and opened our own warehouse and packaging facility. At this time, we were also packaging our inserts under the Lund name. A few years after, we purchased our own building, which we are currently in. Almost all our product is manufactured and packaged in house. We also have our own design team as well as an in-house graphics team. ADN: What sort of product does Cloud- Rider create? NN: We specialize in stainless steel. We are the originators and patent holder for the stainless steel grill insert in North America. Our stainless steel products include stain- less step liners and sill guards and an LED- lighted bumper grill. We also have two lines of mud flaps, the patented Fusion Bond with a 12-inch and 14-inch wide flap and a dually flap. The Advantage line includes tow flaps and a universal mud flap as well as the Long Flap, which is per- fect for lifted trucks. We also have a line of licensed goods for the Canadian Football League and General Motors. ADN: Any new products coming in this year? NN: We are very pleased to announce that we have brought in our new Stealth line of grill inserts and step liners. Our Stealth line is featuring industrial-grade black aluminum. It is very durable and we can make it in house. It is replacing Cloud-Rider Designs (Cont'd. from p. 1) our black powder-coat line, which was a special order and could take longer to produce. ADN: You mentioned you have a graph- ics team. What do they do for you? NN: Our graphics team creates all of our decals that we use for our licensing, adapting images that are given to us and creating ones that we use for our lines. We also make all of our own literature and take photos of our product we use in our catalogs. Because they are in house, we also can do custom artwork. For example, if a dealer was interested in having custom mud flaps, we can take a logo or artwork that they have given us and make a decal to use on our mud flaps. It is a great way for a dealership to get some advertising while giving the cus- tomer a high-quality product. We also have five different hitch covers that can be made with a custom logo. ADN: What do you feel are your strengths in the auto accessory market? NN: We are a small company, but we are very focused on creating top-notch, high- quality products. We strive to perfect our products so we know that our customers are getting a quality piece, whatever product they choose. We are well known for our customer service; we believe in having someone knowledgeable and in- person on the phone whenever customers or distributors need us. Our design team is even available to speak to if needed. We want our customers happy and satis- fied with their experience with us and will do what we can to make that happen. Since the implementation of the TREAD Act (which mandates that all vehicles sold in the U.S. with a GVWR of 10,000 pounds or less after September 1, 2007 must be TPMS compliant), the demand of tire pressure monitoring sys- tems has increased. "Over the past few years, we've seen an increase in demand of aftermar- ket TPMS sensors and this demand is only expected to increase," said Lou DiFrancesco, Director of Global Sourcing and Product Management with Myers Tire Supply. "What's unique about Alligator's solution is that with only four programmable sens.it sensors, 97 percent of all TPMS equipped vehicles are covered." As a programmable solution, sens.it sensors never grow obsolete and can be programmed using all major TPMS tools on the market today. Sens.it sensors are engineered and manufactured in Germany by Alligator and tested in the U.S.A. to ensure qual- ity and reliability. DiFrancesco points out the impor- tance of considering the quality of the valve when selecting a TPMS sensor solution. Alligator's sens.it valves are manufactured with OEM materials and exceed OEM standards by checking for Alligator (Cont'd. from p. 1) leaks, consistent flow rate, thread quality, core torque and external nut and grom- met compression. In addition, Alligator's sens.it offers five valve options com- pared to only two from the competition. The patented clamp-in valves adjust from 12 degrees to 40 degrees to fit most any wheel. The snap-in valve features a patented anti-rotation lip that keeps the valve and sensor from rotating in the wheel. Myers and Alligator have been partners in business for more than 40 years and have built three exclusive brands within the United States: sens-it tire pressure monitoring products, EHA tire valves and the V2B inflate through valve cap. About Myers Tire Supply Myers Tire Supply distributes a com- plete line of tire valve hardware, tire patches, TPMS sensors, tire changing tools, equipment and back shop sup- plies. It is also the automotive after- market's partner for revenue genera- tion, customer satisfaction, safety and productivity. Solutions are presented to customers through its knowledge- able sales representatives, and prod- ucts are distributed through a network of four distribution centers throughout the U.S. For more information, visit booth #43167, call 800.998.9897 or visit www.myerstiresupply.com. completely stripped in one to three hours, using less than $150 in material. Paint, rust, body filler, undercoating, powder coating and even spray-in bed liner can all be removed in one step. This patented paint stripping method has proven to be the most productive, environmentally safe and highest quality surface preparation available. The process includes water, abrasive and rust inhibitor to strip the car down to beauti- ful bare metal, while also washing away all impurities and chlorides. This pro- vides the best "canvas" for painting, and makes it possible to achieve that premi- um paint job painters desire. With such unparalleled capabilities, the popularity of Dustless Blasting has steadily snowballed. It has been featured on many automotive reality shows, including "Gas Monkey Garage" and "Overhaulin'." Dennis Gage, host of the popular TV show "My Classic Car," even used Dustless Blasting to strip his own truck at his home. "It was amazing," said Dennis, "just like a chalk board and an eraser." Dustless Blasting has also been seen on popular Velocity TV shows including "Motorhead Garage," "Performance TV," "Tech Garage," "Dream Ridez," "Lokar Car Show" and "NHRA Pro Mod Series." They even sponsor the No. 83 Dustless Blasting car in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Dustless Blasting's iconic status is not limited to the automotive industry. These machines are replacing conven- Dustless Blasting (Cont'd. from p. 1) tional surface preparation tools like dry sand blasters, grinders and wire wheels throughout the industrial world. By addressing the environmental concerns over removing paint, Dustless Blasting has truly revolutionized multiple indus- tries. The remarkable publicity this tool has received has created an unbelievable demand for Dustless Blasting as a serv- ice. In response to this, MMLJ Inc., the manufacturer of Dustless Blasting, has created business packages for anyone wanting to start their own mobile paint stripping and cleaning business. "The demand for this service has become so great that we had to help indi- viduals start living the dream!" said Benny LeCompte, Owner of MMLJ. The idea of working for yourself but not by yourself is every entrepreneur's dream, and MMLJ has made it a reality by offering the tools, training and mar- keting necessary to own a successful mobile paint stripping and cleaning busi- ness. It's the perfect opportunity in any community, anywhere in the world. When asked what the opportunity was, MMLJ's Zach McAllister smiled and said, "Limitless. Everything in the world around us is painted, rusty or dirty." Head to the booth to learn more! You can check out the equipment and pricing specials, meet Dennis Gage, and get your hero cards and picture taken with the No. 83 Dustless Blasting NASCAR.
