Canna Energy has an edge up on its competitors by not con- taining artificial flavors, colors, sweeten- ers, preservatives or gluten. However, Canna Energy is notorious for being infused with hemp oil. Made from industrial hemp, hemp oil is free of THC and does not contain any psychoactive properties. What it does contain is the reason why it is becoming so increasingly popular. Hemp oil provides its consumers with an adequate supply of vitamins and minerals that have both short- and long-term health benefits. It also con- tains essential fatty acids and amino acids that are required in our diet, but are not naturally produced in our bod- ies. Although both the cannabis plant and industrial hemp were banned in the United States under the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937, in 1997, industrial hemp was freed from the drug legislation. It is currently illegal to grow industrial hemp in the United States, but it legal to import it and use it for food, oil, paper or fabric. Not only does hemp bring about many health benefits, it also signifi- cantly benefits the environ- ment as well. First, hemp products are biodegradable, recyclable and can be com- posted. Second, hemp is a great alternative for both paper and clothing because of the reduced impact it makes on the environment in comparison to other resources, such as using trees for paper or cotton for clothing. Hemp grows faster, can be recycled more times, and produces a higher-quality paper than trees. In fact, one acre of hemp yields as much paper as four acres of trees while also taking a lot less time to grow. As far as clothing goes, hemp is a lot better for soil than cotton is, pro- duces a higher-quality fabric than cot- ton does, and can produce higher quantities of clothing using the same amount of the crop. All in all, industrial hemp is making a comeback, not only with clothing and paper, but in the food and beverage industry as well. Canna Energy is doing its best to promote health and wellness as well as a green environment while also providing its consumers with the energy that they need to get through their day. Join the hemp movement, and next time you are looking for an extra boost of energy, try Canna Energy. You will not be disappointed. Visit Canna Energy at booth #3332. 1515 DESIGN & MANUFACTURING INC. INTRODUCES NEW PRODUCT By Francis Delpech, President, 1515 Design & Manufacturing Inc. 1515 Design & Manufacturing was founded by Eric Maurice and myself. Between us we have more than 25 years experience in designing food concepts and importing the latest European equip- ment. 1515 Design imports and distrib- utes Doregrill rotisseries, a European leader since 1963, and unique refrigerat- ed display cases from Italian manufactur- ers Frigomeccanica and Criocabin. Our rotisseries are recognized world- wide for their unique presentation. We customize colors, finishes and sizes and adapt our rotisseries to our end-users' needs. In supermarkets, the rotisseries are utilized to cook from morning to night and roast large batches of chickens. In restau- rants, the rotisseries are used to roast not only chickens, but with multiple purpose baskets, they can also roast turkey, rack of lamb, pork leg or suckling pig, sausages, fish and vegetables. Versatility, incompa- rable taste and high volume are the norms. Our rotisseries come in gas or electric with individual motors and burners. From a small countertop unit to a 56-chicken- capacity gas floor model, we cover all types of productions. We are proud to present our new rotis- serie from Doregrill, the Magflam. This tra- ditional rotisserie comes with a powerful lighting system, porcelain enamel finish with choice of color available, a decorative roof with lighted rotisserie sign and high performance "naked flame" heat sources, offering the spectacle of traditional cook- ing methods. Do not be afraid to be inno- vative. Consumers are the first ones to notice positive changes. By introducing new design and state-of-the-art equipment, a retailer will enjoy the benefits of higher sales and a new image. Our message has been the same for 20 years and changes can only contribute to positive results. It is imperative nowadays to implement new technology and the latest vision.
