B r o a d c a s t e r s S h o w D a i l y Tu e s d a y, A p r i l 1 4 , 2 0 1 5 2 8 challenge of delivering to consumers the content they want, when and where they want it. The strength of Reach Engine is that it does all of these things quickly, with a targeted workflow. BSD: What would you say makes your company unique? AR: Levels Beyond is one of the only companies to address all three areas of the content lifecycle: capture, production and delivery. Reach Engine uses a web-based, open, modern architecture to service what was once a very proprietary video indus- try. Reach Engine scales to an immense level handling massive amounts of con- tent production with a very fast response time, and distributes hundreds of thou- sands of deliveries per month. BSD: Describe your company's current marketing strategy. AR: We built Reach Engine so it can be correlated to a particular business through configuration, not unique soft- ware builds. A user's job will deter- mine the data and menus they see. We're focusing on five vertical mar- kets: Film/TV/Video, Sports, Agency/Brands, Publishing and Institutions. We offer targeted solutions in each of those markets. BSD: What do you anticipate to be your greatest challenge in the year ahead? AR: Our strategy is to partner with com- panies and deliver at all costs. We will do anything for a customer's success. Managing growth is a challenge. We're growing pretty fast, and we want to Levels Beyond (Cont'd. from p. 1) maintain the high level of service we pro- vide to our customers. BSD: Are you introducing any new prod- ucts? AR: Our focus is to move the industry to a 'Built on Reach Engine' approach. With that in mind, we have three new Engine Apps: Studio Express, which exposes the flexibility of our platform by allowing users to quickly find con- tent in a massive media inventory and take action on that content from a sim- ple web interface; Review and Approve: providing the simplest way for an organization to have conversa- tions at the right time in the media cycle with the right users; and Prelude Panels: Working closely with Adobe, we constructed two panels built for con- nectivity between Prelude and Reach Engine Studio. BSD: What distinguishes your products from the competition? AR: Levels Beyond offers modern, open, accessible APIs that are genuinely built from the bottom up on modern web tech- nologies. Our scalability is impressive – we cut our teeth on the biggest projects in the world and handle large, tough distrib- uted organizations. We make it simple for people to do their jobs. Reach Engine is a targeted workflow to help monetize video assets and distribute digital content. We manage it and help our customers deliver. Visit Levels Beyond at booth #SU6110. IW Microwave Products is a Division of Insulated Wire Inc., which offers a wide range of microwave cable assemblies that operate from the low MHz to 70GHz in frequency. These cables, coupled with a broad array of connectors, allow IW to create custom assemblies for both military and com- mercial applications. Founded in 1970, Insulated Wire developed a unique PTFE lamination process and applied it to the manufac- turing of wire and cable. This process allowed Insulated Wire to manufacture products of unprecedented reliability along with smaller diameters. Combining the lamination process with a patented shield design allowed Insulated Wire to become one of the leaders in low loss microwave transmis- sion lines utilizing both solid and expanded PTFE dielectrics. This combi- nation of features allowed Insulated Wire to produce microwave cables with the lowest attenuation loss per foot in the industry. In 1988, Insulated Wire expanded its operations and created the IW Microwave Products Division. Insulated Wire has produced both wire and cable to serve medical, geophysical, defense, telecommunications, data and instrumentation markets. IW strives to stay ahead of the ever- changing military/commercial microwave markets by implementing new products and processes. These include cables with stable phase performance over both tem- perature and flexure, and its Tuf-Flex TM cables which offer compression resistance IW Microwave Products (Cont'd. from p. 1) up to 250 pounds per linear inch, polyurethane jacketed cables for low smoke/zero halogen applications and stranded center conductor cable for increased flexibility. Its high performance 75 Ohm cables are being used in the video tracking and surveillance areas of UAVs. IW has developed special procedures to work with the increasing demand for smaller cables and connectors without compromising performance. Each cable assembly is manufactured under strict process controls in accor- dance with IPC-WHMA-A-620 proce- dures. IW offers measurements of return loss, insertion loss, phase matching, time delay and amplitude matching up to 67 GHz. In addition, testing for humidity, salt spray, vibration, thermal shock, flex- ure and hydrostatic pressure, among oth- ers, can be conducted either in-house or in an approved laboratory environment. IW's engineering staff can help with questions that may occur during any phase of a project. This includes assis- tance for cable/connector configuration in racks, "black boxes" and other systems where transmission line performance is critical, specialized custom designs and anything in between. IW can also be on- site to help with cable routing and instal- lation. Engineering support is also avail- able for optimal cable/connector selec- tion for unique applications. IW operates two facilities: headquar- ters and cable manufacturing are located in Bayport, N.Y. and the Microwave Products Division, responsible for the production and sale of all microwave assemblies has just relocated to a new facility located in Bethel, Conn. DVAs are easily viewed, modified, edited, shared and archivally stored in the cloud at DigitalVideoArchive.com. By enabling consumers and professional content producers to convert to DVA and upload to a single, safe loca- tion for all content viewing, editing and private sharing, Digital Video Archive and the DVA has solved the problem of content storage and delivery by provid- ing one universal format for all mobile uploads and older legacy video content. As film, DVD and physical media become obsolete content owners and cre- ators – individuals, businesses, organiza- tions and governments alike, are at risk of losing over one billion hours of treasured moments and important industry content residing on film, video and digital devices. This problem grows exponentially as peo- ple all over the planet record new video content on their smartphones daily. Digital Video Archive Founder and CEO, Robert Hanely, has found the answer to preserving both physical media and mobile video content together with a 21st century solution in DVA. "It is our vision that Digital Video Archive and the DVA will become the successor to DVD, and that cloud-based DVAs will be DVA (Cont'd. from p. 1) accessed from DigitalVideoArchive.com by consumers and commercial clients for private and public viewing, editing, shar- ing, storage and retrieval via computer, tablet, smartphone, smartTV and future delivery devices," Hanley said. The addition of Private Sharing for reg- istered members allows any and all DVA content to be shared with an entire circle of family and friends or only one individual. Along with commercial applications that can be created by individuals, companies and organizations, anyone and everyone who owns, uses or creates video content will benefit from Digital Video Archive. This includes producers, directors and pro- duction companies both big and small. In addition to the DVA, Digital Video Archive will be introducing the DVA Deluxe Authoring System and the DVA Deluxe software application. The DVA Deluxe is a hardware and software solution/application designed to allow anyone to create fully authored DVA's using an automated workflow. Creating DVA's from live video or files previously captured, the software adds metadata to the DVA files that contain specific details including titles, descrip- tions, thumbnail images, customer track- ing and identifying information which enables automatic DVA account creation in the Digital Video Archive Cloud.
