Dexas will be exhibiting in an expanded booth space, on the 100 aisle of the South Hall of McCormick Place, booth #S137. Dexas is pleased to announce the release of the Snack-DuO™ as a design evolution in the hydration category. The Snack-DuO is the first dual-chamber hydration bottle on the market with the versatility to carry both a beverage and a snack within the same bottle cylinder. The product features two side-by-side chambers with capacities for both 12 ounces of liquid and 1.5 cups of dry snacks. The top of the Snack-DuO has both a watertight cap top, which covers the drink spout as well as a wide-mouth snap lid, which covers the snack cham- ber. This configuration is ideal for fitness enthusiasts, commuters or anyone on the go who would like to carry both their favorite drink and a healthy snack in one hand! The patented Snack-DuO is made even more versatile with the powerful advantages of Tritan™ resin from Eastman, known for its clarity, durability, and of course, the fact that it's BPA-free, leading to worry-free, long-lasting use. Optimal hydration levels can be eas- ily achieved with regular use of the Snack-DuO, along with the convenience and cost savings of bringing a healthier snack option from home. Snack-DuO is currently available in three colors and can be shipped in a color assortment along with a nine-ct CDU. The suggested retail price for Snack- DuO is $14.99. Dexas is also exhibiting new kitchen tools at the IH+HS in booth #S137. The Dexas Pasta & Pastry Prep Set delivers remark- able results for the home chef. The set comes with an ergonomically designed, soft-grip handle and four inter- changeable poly "blades" that include a pasta cutter, a dough docker, a crimper and cutter wheel for finishing ravioli and other stuffed pastas, as well as the classic fluted wheel for cutting dough to create pastry latticework. Dexas is also releasing a new cutting board that is truly about getting back to the basics in a busy kitchen. The Kitchen Work Board is ideally sized at 17 by 12.5 inches, with a distinc- tive, drop-down edge that firmly grips the edge of the counter. It saves time while creating additional counter space, and will never dull fine cutlery. It can even fit over the sink to create a produce prep area in smaller kitchens. Founded in 1969, Dexas is a housewares design leader and the largest in-house manufacturer of cutting board units in the U.S.A. Dexas also markets a line of pet feeders and accessories as well as storage clipboards for students and on-the-go professionals' use. Visit Dexas in the South Hall, booth #S137. CRYSTAL BARWARE FROM FORTESSA TABLEWARE SOLUTIONS Trends at the nation's hottest bars are finding their way right into people's homes. How is that possible? It's because more and more consumers are discovering that the newest bar trends are available at their favorite home-fur- nishing retailers. "People have a great experience going out with friends, and they want to bring that same experience home," said Laura Aldrich, Senior V.P. of Consumer Products for Fortessa Tableware Solutions. "Fortessa has a front row seat for the hottest bar trends because our bar- ware is featured at many famous bars around the world." What's trending right now? Schott Zwiesel hand-cut crystal glass barware, because the grand old days of cocktails are back. This new faceted collection of crystal glass barware, called Distil, looks brilliant on the shelf and feels great in your hand. Both classic and trendy cock- tails look wonderful in Distil and even a whiskey neat presents a distinctive appearance. Like all Schott Zwiesel crystal glass- ware, Distil is manufactured according to a patented process called Tritan that uses a propri- etary, lead-free formula and includes added titanium for strength and zirconium for clarity. This dishwasher-safe crystal glass is much more durable than ordinary lead crystal or glass. "The brightness of Tritan just can't be beat," said Aldrich. "And it won't get cloudy from being put in the dish- washer, which is a common complaint about other products." Of course, Distil is far from the only barware offered by Schott Zwiesel and it's not the only one trending in 2015. Nothing sets the mood for any occasion more effectively than the glasses in which drinks are served, and Schott Zwiesel barware runs the gamut from formal to whimsical, classic to modern. Schott Zwiesel patterns give creative hosts the opportunity to select entirely different themes for their parties and have the drinks they serve make a strong statement. "The kind of party you throw says a lot about you," said Aldrich. "Schott Zwiesel barware sets the tone from the very first drink." Visit Fortessa Tableware Solutions at booth #S1462. AEROLATTE: 'ALL COFFEE IS CREATED EQUAL' Coffee is becoming more and more geek- ish, with specialist baristas popping up all over the place to explain how their way of making your morning cup of Java is the only way, and how all other cups of coffee are thus inferior. The European coffee folk at aerolat- te (which in a nod to its first product, the original steam free milk frother, calls itself "the incredibly frothy coffee com- pany"), say that coffee should be made in whatever way the individual taster is going to enjoy most. The company's product range is constantly expanding to encompass every method of coffee pro- duction. It designed its milk frother so that a cappuccino or latte could be made with whatever coffee was at hand: you had a pot on the heat – that would do; a French press brewing – perfect; a moka pot on the boil – ideal. The key point was that the coffee you enjoyed was the cof- fee that you drank. Over the years, aero- latte has introduced a range of different coffee making equipment. Gary Lane explained, "The same coffee from the same batch of beans can taste completely differ- ent depending on how it's ground and brewed. A coarse grind put into a French Press will leave a rich, earthy taste. Take that same ground coffee and pour it through an unbleached paper in a ceram- ic pour-over filter, and you will get a much smoother, subtler taste. Grind the same beans much finer and use it in our MokaVista and you'll get a short, strong (but not bitter) coffee much like an espresso – perfect for pairing up with frothed milk for a morning cappuccino." His partner, Alan Green, added, "No one method is better than the other. They all provide different tastes appropriate for different moods, times of day or people. Don't buy just a French Press, just a MokaVista or just a ceramic filter – buy all of them." Visit aerolatte at booth #S1449.
