This unique team came together in recent years to form a new and exciting entity. By utilizing decades of experience in the Housewares industry, the Knack3 team created a company designed to meet today's dynamic business requirements. Knack3 brings new and fresh approaches to the melamine, acrylic, ceramic and the home textile industry. Products are sold in North America, internationally, and to retailers of many different styles and merchandising strate- gies. The team works closely with its cus- tomers to create unique and well designed products. Focused on innova- tive design, quality sourcing with integri- ty and reliable, cost-effective distribution of its products, Knack3 has locations to serve its valued customers in three key places: Toronto, Canada; Kowloon, Hong Kong, and the United States, Souderton, Pennsylvania. Also, as member of Regus, it can provide meeting locations for clients in New York and other North American cities, as well as other cities around the world. Design makes Knack3 products fun to be around! Fashionable surface treat- ment on various materials, combined with functionality, makes for innovative design. With the ability to create on-trend design for any season or occasion, Knack3 is a complete design source for many different products, categories and substrates. Design is a critical ele- ment to ensuring effective point of sale performance for products. Many of the designs are done in-house. Knack3 cre- ates a significant amount of custom art for its customers, in addition to offering expertise in preparing customers' art to work with its various product classifica- tions. Knack3 can also work with compa- nies to develop new shapes and products that set it apart from other retailers. Differentiation is the key to success and Knack3 likes to say, "We've got the Knack!" InvenTel is delighted to introduce Magic Finderâ„¢, the brand new device that makes it fast and easy to find any lost item like your keys, purse, remote and more. Just keep the Magic Finder with the item that you want to keep track of, download the free app (available at the Apple store or Google Play store) and pair it to the Magic Finder. Then use the Magic Finder to find your lost item in three different ways: Radar Tracking: use the Magic Finder app to track the distance to your lost item. Sound & Light: use the Magic Finder app to activate an alarm on the Magic Finder to help you find your item by sight and sound. Two Way Tracking: just press the button on the back of the Magic Finder to activate an alarm on your phone (even if the ringer is off) to help you find it in seconds. Magic Finder features a hole at the cor- ner to allow it to attach easily to any key ring or pet collar, and its slim and compact design fits easily into any wallet, purse or glove compartment. Magic Finder pairs easily to any Bluetooth enabled smart device and the free Magic Finder app is also extremely user-friendly, with easy to navigate menus. Realizing the impor- tance of this development, Escali SmartConnect launched an update for its iOS users to allow them the option to send food journal and body journal data to Apple Health. In effect, this allows any third party fitness or health app to use the Escali SmartConnect scales by accessing the aggregated data stored in Apple Health. Before Apple Health, if a user want- ed to share data collected by their favorite fitness tracker with their favorite food journaling app, those two compa- nies had to build a direct integration between their applications. While many of the most popular apps have already built integrations between each other, still many have not. Additionally, new and smaller apps have troubles getting integrations with these larger players, which can limit innovation in this new digital health and fitness ecosystem. Sharing data collected by the SmartConnect Kitchen and Body Scales with other applica- tions has been highly requested by current SmartConnect users. To con- nect Escali SmartConnect to Apple Health, the user must be using an iPhone 4S or newer (as specified by Apple) and run the latest operating system, iOS 8 or newer. Once the integration is com- plete, anything saved to the SmartConnect food journal or body journal will be sent to Apple Health for duplicate storage and potential sharing. Apple Health is not the first integra- tion available to Escali SmartConnect. Previously, Escali made a direct integra- tion with UP by Jawbone, which allows body weight measurements and BMI data from the SmartConnect Body Scale, as well as food journal entries created by the SmartConnect Kitchen Scale to update the UP by Jawbone app. Like the integration with UP by Jawbone, the Apple Health integration will not be the last update to SmartConnect. "In 2015 we are planning more updates based on user requests," said Theo Prins, President of Escali. "It's a bit too early to make any specific announcements now, so stay tuned to our Facebook or Twitter feed for future announcements." Visit Escali at booth #S443.
