Maxway is a wholesale/importer of stain- less steel cookware. This year, our com- pany is introducing a product, which has been awarded for best practice of inven- tive design. The new product features new design, packaging and technology. The star of the new Maxway line of stainless steel cookware is a complete set of cookware for a standard family of five. This cookware set reached a new level of design and features. The body material is made out of 18/10 stainless steel, topped off with an 11 layer capsule bottom. The rivet handle consists of stainless steel and Bakelite. The knob has a thermometer that indicates the level of temperature. 18/10. The numbers refer to the amount of chromium and nickel that go into the steel to make it stainless. The two grades are essentially the same. You sometimes see 18/0, which has no nickel. It's still stainless, but not as shiny and might get rust spots. Only the chromium is required to make it legally stainless steel. Chromium is added to make the iron rustproof, while nickel inhibits cor- rosion. 18/10 stainless steel grade is the best for any stainless steel cookware. The 11 layer capsule bottom is made with AISI 430 stainless steel, aluminum alloy, pure aluminum, 304 surgical stainless steel and carbon. The combination of these materials creates and distributes the heat evenly and keeps the high tem- perature longer. In addition to the cookware sets, the Maxway line includes individual stock pots (large and small), sauce pans, low stock pots, vacuum flasks, chafing dishes and fry pans. The variety selection of cookware products is ideal for any fami- ly size and made it a one-stop shop. Pricing is as important as selection to the con- sumers, which is why Maxway made its products affordable for the best quality cookware. The company has been in the industry and business for over a decade based in Los Angeles, Calif., and prides itself on carrying high quality cookware. Unlike our competitors, we designed our prod- ucts to stay ahead of the curve and to meet the desire of end users. Our mission is to carry high quality products at com- petitive prices and provide excellent services to all our customers. FROST & SULLIVAN HONORS AQUASANA By Michelle Hirschfield, Director of Public Relations, Aquasana Frost & Sullivan recognizes Aquasana with the 2014 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Line Strategy Leadership. Aquasana's product line fea- tures the broadest spectrum of residential water treatment products from under counter drinking water systems to large whole home systems. The company's Powered Water Filtration System pro- vides pure, fast and good-tasting drinking water through a high-powered selective technology that filters 10 times more contaminants than the leading pitcher fil- ter. The selective Claryum ® filtration in the system retains naturally occurring minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium, while removing heavy met- als such as lead and mercury. "While traditional pitchers use grav- ity to slowly trickle water over filter granules, Aquasana's Claryum technolo- gy uses power to filter water much faster," said Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Vandhana Ravi. "Thus, this tech- nology combines the functionalities of two key water-filtration systems – under- the-counter and pitcher filters – to offer high-purity filtered water without the hassle of installation." Furthermore, Aquasana has invested in unique research projects with the University of Texas, Austin, specifically to address the need to remove chlo- ramines (chlorine + ammonia disinfec- tant) from tap water. Aquasana has also collaborated with the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) to achieve a certifica- tion for the removal of pharmaceuticals, and by the end of August 2014, Aquasana's drinking water products were among the first in the market to obtain this certification. The company offers comprehensive water quality testing and can customize a full line of point-of-entry products (whole house water filters and salt-free softeners) to individual household needs. The company strives for industry-best performance, value and convenience. Extensive third party testing and certifications from the NSF underlie its com- mitment to high per- formance filtration and best in class contaminant reduction. In terms of value, its customers spend less than 10 cents to filter a gallon of water. Finally, it continually monitors the usability of its products through cus- tomer feedback and is constantly striving to create the most user-friendly and lifestyle-oriented products in the indus- try. As part of its commitment to the health and the environment, its drinking- water systems are eco-friendly. The reusable outer filter canisters are made with Bisphenol-A (BPA) free plastic. Its salt-free softeners leave no impact on the environment, unlike traditional salt- based softeners, and its Texas-based manufacturing facility is entirely pow- ered by green wind energy. Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this award to the company that has devel- oped a comprehensive product line that caters to the breadth of the market it serves. The award recognizes the extent to which the product line meets cus- tomer base demands, the overall impact it has in terms of customer value, as well as increased market share. Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service and strategic product development. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure per- formance through in-depth interviews, analysis and extensive secondary research to identify best practices in the industry.
